It's not Mercedes fault if expensive luxury sedans drop their value so heavily within a few years of production unless you are buying a limited edition super car or a Ferrari/Lamborghini where you are going to unplug the speedometer so the true mileage never shows (like they do abroad) be prepared to lose a ton of money!

Close to mid April 2022 I test drove a 2019 Mercedes S560 and I’m sorry to say that I felt every bump, crack and any other imperfection on the road. I don’t know what is the hype about its great suspension, and its celebrated smooth ride. It honestly did not feel any different from my existing 2018 Toyota Camry, in terms of the smoothness of the ride on those road imperfections.

@larrycalloway17247 жыл бұрын
William Heinsinger True not for the faint of heart , service is either 500 or 1,000 dollars that’s if nothing is wrong or broken . Service is due car must be taken in for service ! Unlike BMW were you get complementary service for so many miles on the car . Mercedes do not offer that option , You have to pay for it upfront . But still I’m still a fan of Mercedes Benz !

Are you referring to maintenance? Or warranty work? Maintenance doesn't change but work that would otherwise be covered by warranty can get expensive but it's more in the 6 year range where you'll start seeing that. There are not alot of issues with these cars, at least nothing consistent.

Are self-driving cars really a good idea? Are we too lazy as a species to even drive a car? Remember, humans use to walk everywhere. If you stop exercising you will become deconditioned, fat, and lazy. Your body will turn into useless mush. What about deconditioning the mind? Would not it be easier and cheaper to just replace the passengers with machines? Why do we even need a human race at all? Let the robots take over. Maybe they can get along with each other better than we do.
@prof.orlandoferguson32887 жыл бұрын
Humans are not a species. We live on a flat earth created by Jesus. But i agree that the satanic system is trying to take us over with ai.
@kaarelv16437 жыл бұрын
I think some people need to drive excessively a lot because of their work. So it makes sense for them. Now if you drive like 20k miles a year or less then yeah no point of this laziness

Great car without a doubt, but the 2018 Lexus Ls 500 has the same twin turbo V6 making it a direct competitor to the S 450 and it starts at 76-77k. That's 12k cheaper than the S 450 and it's the better car in terms of luxury and performance.

Mercedes Benz = Overpriced, Unreliable and High-end depreciation.
@zubairmohammed49187 жыл бұрын
People would still argue saying its not over priced or unreliable, but one established and concrete fact remains as you mentioned that it depreciates like going down on a waterslide
@kclark80807 жыл бұрын
It's a fake argument....Depreciation is based on a percentage. If a car depreciates 50% it will appear to do so at a faster clip, the higher the original MSRP. Check out preowned Bentleys..... True, some cars do depreciate slower percentage-wise, but Mercedes is not by any means the quickest to drop. Take an S and a 7 series, exactly the same price. In three years, which is priced lower on the Preowned market? It aint the Mercedes.
@shpingus46017 жыл бұрын
zarbon700 They aren’t overpriced lol. If Mercedes is overpriced so is BMW, Bentley, Rolls Royce, Audi etc... just because you can’t afford one doesn’t mean it’s overpriced. It is unreliable after about 30k km (20k miles) but what do you expect from a technologically advanced car, again same goes for BMW, Audi, Bentley etc. And once again, every car I’ve mentioned depreciate quickly, you can buy an 2012 328i for 18k CAD and a 2012 Mercedes C-300 for 25k CAD. Mercedes is a mile ahead of BMW and Audi. Especially S-Class, it competes with Bentley’s and Rolls Royce (especially the S-Maybach).
@kclark80807 жыл бұрын
I disagree with your 20K miles statement but the rest of what you said is spot on....The Germans do take technology risks and some don't work out that well. I remember they were using fiber optics for sound systems. That didn't last...LOL
