Goodbye you brilliant madman. Will love and miss you forever. This band was so entertaining to me as a kid, distracting me from my horrible childhood and providing some solace and identity (The Fall had a HUGE underground following even in the States thru kids like me). . Mark E. had this uniquely quirky lyrical composition an presentation that we will never see again. We have lost another musical Everest, never to be replaced. Kids today are incapable of this cuz they have no character, they are slaves to the popularity contest that is (anti)social media. Mark E. stood on his own and wouldnt give a toss about 'likes'. Rest in peace buddy. Peace out to Kids of the 70s/80s!

So eloquently put .... can't imagine my life without his brilliance. Such a loss , yet another amazing artist gone way to soon.
He was the only constant member of the fall because he was the fall!

He credited most of the early fall sound to their long serving bass player stating it wouldn't have been possible without him, so no he wasn't the fall

Loved that what Tim is doing in this interview is channeling the nature of Mark by irrelevant answers to the daft questions - laughing along at his own mischievousness 😂 and i’m sure Mark was looking down and laughing along too
