Really like Dom’s commentary. He doesn’t talk about himself and provides practical and understandable information. Thanks Dom

Phillip Coghill What are you so mad for I was just stating that bowling compared to other sports is underrated. You don’t see bowlers making 12 million a year do you? While football, basketball, and baseball players make like 10 million a year.

Question, (if anyone sees this and knows) is there any restrictions on which way you hook the ball? I've heard there's some places that allows you to use either hand in a game. And others that you have to use only your right or your left hand (or two handed of course). So I was curious about hooks. I'm a right handed bowler. But can hook the ball right. And I feel comfortable picking up certain spares by doing that. Is there any rule against it?
@Shadowmas7erX6 жыл бұрын
tres harris should be fine. Anthony Simonsen won a title playing like that
@blargy72835 жыл бұрын
Switching hands is different than direction of rotation. You can rotate the ball to get it to hook either direction with the same hand. There are no rules against that. As for changing hands, I believe that the PBA allows a competitor to switch hands if they want. The USBC I don't think allows it.
@douglasharris52165 жыл бұрын
blargy72 correct, USBC has not allowed using either hand ever since a person entered a tournament as his own doubles partner. Whatever hand you use to start the game you must finish with that hand. You can have an average for both hands though

I for one welcome any commentator that is not Pederson because he doesnt talk about the balls the players are using or even know (except if its a storm ball) what theyre throwing. Dom, Chris and Blanchard did a better job in commentary than Randy.

It's all about ratings. Too many channels to choose from with very little prize money. Only money being put into the game are from bowling products or the PBA. Corporations aren't footing the bill for many events now days. Hopefully, with FOX coming on board they might get some better sponsorship and put the sport back on the map once again:-)
