I have a 2015 F-150 EcoBoost. Love the truck, engine (tuned) and power it has, however that Shelby for that price should have a supercharged 5.0 in it.

We will never see a V8 raptor again. Mainly due to the fact that there are too many illogical jackasses that think by down sizing to a V6 and throwing on massive twin turbo's on an engine its somehow better than a naturally aspirated engine 6.2L V8. Those same people are also the ones who have basically doubled the cost of the raptor since 2011. Why you would need lane keep assist, smart technology or a duel panoramic moon roof in that truck is beyond me. It's an extra 30-45k of useless shit.

Then they could pick up the other 49% of the people who just absolutely fucking hate the V6 it's fake V8 noise piped into the cabin and all its extra bullshit that's not needed when you have a naturally aspirated V8 and before you say it. ... The "agile" feel you get is mainly from the 10 speed transmission not the 300 lbs you save by not having a V8.

Nice truck but if you buy the XLT base model for 32k with a 5.0 engine go with aftermarket parts the list is .Borla for the mufflers $1,700 + raptor grille $400.0 + a 2.5 leveling kit $250.00 +wheels and tires $2,500 + $200.00 windows tinted + a front and rear raptor Bumpers $3,000 .now we are talking about a bad ass truck that will be turning heads on the road for just a fraction for a little under 41k these anyone agree with me let me know what you guys think 117,000 OMG

So basically what you’re paying for is the front and back bumpers + lights, a cold air intake, the hood, decals, side steps, and interior leather stitching, along with a limited edition numbered badge. Tbh i would just keep a stock raptor and make it your own with performance parts like exhaust, intercooler, and CAI, maybe even rims and 37” tires.

Regular F-150 Shelby has a 5.0 V8 with 750 HP for 96k and this truck has a V6 ecoshit 525 Hp and you have to pay 117K! 💩

Looks really good, really good... should be 60k, especially with that much plastic interior and v6, i know there is alot changes, but convince me it must be over 100k. It looks so bad ass, and for that people will buy it, but it's still 40k v6 truck which needs turbo to go and this much turbo does lots of stretch to that little engine in heavy truck...comes from guy who can't afford it, lol. If money would not be issue, i would probably buy it temporarily, soonest v8 version come out, i would swap it, or try different like another good looking Ram TRX. I like them all, have to test to be sure what i like

If I had 117k to throw away on a vehicle I’d rather do it on a truck than a car any day of the week. This is nice, but please please throw a v8 in it for god sakes. I’ve driven an ecoboost and I’ll admit i was impressed by the power the engine produces. But i heard a ecoboost raptor dualed out and it was just embarrassing lol the Shelby logo on everything is overkill.

I think the quality of your review is great, however the truck itself is way over the top. Excessive badging, faux carbon fiber, loud red seat accents, etc, etc. Shelby was trying way too hard ....and that price, $117K. No way will this be a collector's item. I'm sure there are some that will disagree, but a standard Raptor or even a Limited with the Raptor engine option is a much cleaner looking truck at a nicer price.
