2018 SORCS Winter Series - ROUND 1- High Point - Perry, GA

This is the first race of the S.O.R.C.S. Winter Series! It was High Point in Perry, GA. It's also my first race on the WR450F! I consider it my first race, even though I rode in one last year on the XT225, I really don't count that. It was all I could do to get through one 8 mile lap on that thing. I thought I was going to die. HaHa But this time I was able to do 3 laps at 10 miles each. I'm pretty proud of that, even though I finished 8th out of 9, I consider it a success. Round 2 of the winter series was good, I'm editing the video now so keep an eye out :)

Those kids are fast! I was the guy with the kawasaki in 1st at the beginning of the video. I finished 2nd and I got passed by all those kids so don't feel bad!😂 run your own race man!

Yep, I'll be out there! This is the first season I've ever raced, so I'm trying to make it to all of them. I want a damn plaque, but I'm so slow that I figure I'm just going to have to keep racing until I get fast enough to be in the top 5 lol

Stand up man!!! That's your biggest enemy. Your riding with your arms and not your body. Hell you did good and the only way to get better is to keep riding. Stand up relax and ride with the lower part of your body instead of putting the death squeeze on the grips.

King Dingaling That's great advice. I've heard the same thing from all my friends who race. Today was round 3 and I think I did a better job of standing than I have been, I'm still trying to find a good stance too. I'm 6'4", been out of shape for a few years, and have never been on a 450 before I bought this one, so I'm still trying to find my feet. I will gladly accept critiques and advice any time. WILD BILL nice man, I missed high point cuz it was too cold for me lol but I did milledgeville also. It was awesome. Not sure if I lapped you so that's a good thing! I'm the dude with the yellow RM250 #17 that rode there with you guys a few weeks ago
