I'm purchasing a 2014 street glide special with 7788 miles on it this is the first upgrade i'm doing I currently ride an 03 lowrider with drag bars 27" wide , after research these are the narrowest bars for a street glide. Is it the just where the camera is mounted or do the bars block a portion of the outer two gauges?
@ronsportin3 жыл бұрын
No, the bars actually do block a portion of the outer two gauges. You can’t see your turn signals straight on as well as if your tank is full. If you move your head a little you can see.

What’s up bruh? You stated that you’re 5’6” and your bars are 14’s? How much pull back do you have with these?

5” for the pull back. You have some adjustability on the angle which you mount them.

@@chrissmith2492 I have about a 1000 miles on them. They stay in place. You might have to adjust after you put them on ride to get the angle right. The only thing I’m still working with is the valance for the ignition switch. The bars are fat and it’s tight fit down there getting back on

@@ronsportin does it bother you? It's the only thing that bugs me about them to hesitate getting them.
@ronsportin3 жыл бұрын
@@joesbuell at first I was bothered about not seeing my turn signals but I adjusted to it. It’s second nature to lean a little bit to see if they are on. As far as the fuel I just look at the trip meter to check my fuel levels. I honestly like them. I like how narrow they are. Makes me feel like I have more control of the bike, if that makes sense.

My question did you change your cables. I have stock and longer ones on the bike now. Just wondering. Man they look nice. Thanks keep me posted🙏🇵🇷🥊

My bike originally came with 13” apes and so it had longer cables and the wiring extension. Those worked with the Hoopteez bars, just not a lot of excess.
