I ordered these in 14" which was a guess, glad to see they look like the perfect size.

I'm purchasing a 2014 street glide special with 7788 miles on it this is the first upgrade i'm doing I currently ride an 03 lowrider with drag bars 27" wide , after research these are the narrowest bars for a street glide. I'm going with the 12" cause i'm only 5'5" Thanks for the honest review sealed my thoughts

Awesome video on these bars! I also like that you informed us about width difference compared to your other bars. And I like the other video where you pointed on a possible fitment issue.

Is it the just where the camera is mounted or do the bars block a portion of the outer two gauges?
@ronsportin
@ronsportin 3 жыл бұрын
No, the bars actually do block a portion of the outer two gauges. You can’t see your turn signals straight on as well as if your tank is full. If you move your head a little you can see.

@@ronsportin thanks. I like the idea behind these bars but I guess I’ll have to wait until I see a Street Glide with them to make up my mind.

What’s up bruh? You stated that you’re 5’6” and your bars are 14’s? How much pull back do you have with these?
@ronsportin
@ronsportin 3 жыл бұрын
5” for the pull back. You have some adjustability on the angle which you mount them.

@ronsportin
@ronsportin 4 жыл бұрын
@@chrissmith2492 I have about a 1000 miles on them. They stay in place. You might have to adjust after you put them on ride to get the angle right. The only thing I’m still working with is the valance for the ignition switch. The bars are fat and it’s tight fit down there getting back on

@@ronsportin does it bother you? It's the only thing that bugs me about them to hesitate getting them.
@ronsportin
@ronsportin 3 жыл бұрын
@@joesbuell at first I was bothered about not seeing my turn signals but I adjusted to it. It’s second nature to lean a little bit to see if they are on. As far as the fuel I just look at the trip meter to check my fuel levels. I honestly like them. I like how narrow they are. Makes me feel like I have more control of the bike, if that makes sense.

Just stumbled into your channel thanks, I’m an aggressive rider had a Hayabusa for ten years, have a 2017 ultra classic. I have 13 inch apes love them but I’m limited with my riding style. My question did you change your cables. I have stock and longer ones on the bike now. Just wondering. Man they look nice. Thanks keep me posted🙏🇵🇷🥊

My bike originally came with 13” apes and so it had longer cables and the wiring extension. Those worked with the Hoopteez bars, just not a lot of excess.

Question for you...hand position looks nice for aggressive riding with comfort. Pretty severe bend and was wondering how difficult was it to pull the wiring through / around that bend? T.I.A.
@ronsportin
@ronsportin 4 жыл бұрын
pigasus1utube It was a little difficult but manageable. I ended up up cutting and then soldering the wires back once I got them through the bars.
@pigasus1utube
@pigasus1utube 4 жыл бұрын
could it be solved with wire extensions?
@ronsportin
