Why do all the movies on my T9 android box have a blue tint and the remote won't scroll down so I can pick a movie to watch you can only scroll like 4 movie tile rows but when you try to scroll any further it jumps right back to the beginning

Hey man, so I wanted to ask how / if there was a way to operate the box (attached to an external touch display) without the remote? There is a mouse cursor at all times and I cannot hide it. Also, there are no navigation bar. Is there a way to use the apps on the box on an external touch screen just with your touch gestures? The only way I have to use the box is to move the mouse cursor via the usb cable! Thanks!

Though the remote may look the same, it may not carry the same drivers for it to work. You should have gone with a wireless AirMouse instead that's universal and comes with a dongle that can work on any TV box. Without the correct drivers for that remote the box will not recognize it.

hello, no launchers at all work with my T9 box. I have the RK 3318 4gb/64gb with Android version 9. when i try to run the launchers, i just get a blank screen. i was able to get simple tv launcher to run, but i cannot even edit the background image. do you know what might be the problem?

It's not the same box from in this video. The model CPU is different so the firmware is also different.

Hi there maybe a Dolby vision or an HDR setting, I am not sure or I can't remember. If Dolby vision is off, turn it on in the display setting or there may be a Droid setting with display options. The other setting is the SD to HDR or HDR to SD setting that also affects the color debt. There may also be a custom color setting to adjust brightness and Hue and contrast etc. What happens when you are powering off all custom settings go to default just before the shutdown. Also a more radical solution to your problem is to reset the box. Under setting select backup and reset, and select to factory default. Make sure to save any important stuff to a flash drive before doing so, as it will reset the box back to the state when you first purchased it. So you will have to install over everything again, but it will also reset all settings.

I am not sure what's happening , in my test is play OK not the best but it played. You will need to get a box with more power if you are really into playing 4K videos like the Magicsee N6 Max.

I would go with the Xiaomi Mi Box over the T9 for the Full Google certification and Netflix in HD. However, the T9 has more ports and hardware but its CPU is clocked too low at 1.3GHz and it's not Netflix HD ready.

Sorry there is not. What you have to understand is that TV Box hardware are locked into certain versions of Android. So this box is locked into Android 8.1 and it cannot be upgraded even if you tried because the hardware would not accept Android 9 or higher. That is why they keep making new boxes each time a new version of Android is released. Only boxes such as the Nvidia shield were made a bit future proof, and as soon as the hardware is no longer supported you would see Nvidia drop another model to go forward again.

At 1080p it just might play smoothly. However, this chipset is too outdated and low performance. If this box is all that's available to you well you have no other choice, but I would recommend an Amlogic TV box as this Rockchip chipset can be problematic.

What could happen is that there could be lots of apps you would have to go and find older versions for on APK app stores so that they are compatible with Android 8.1. Some newer apps and not work on all the operating systems. Just be informed.
