Strange race. For me Hagberg was the winner. He was consistent during all 3 mains. The one thing I really enjoyed in this race was seeing Hara race again!

great race and great finish. there is no issue imo since Hagberg was given the lead back after contact.

Sobue gave Hagberg a good lead after the spin out, and it should have ended in that order. If you slow down the vid, you can see Sobue darting into the finish line in the shortest distance possible, while Hagberg went way wide compared to his other lines he took in the previous laps. Imo, Hagberg let his guard down at the last moment. This is why you should never give up in a close race.

He was beat by a clever corner cut by a driver more familiar with the circuit. Hagberg still wins in my book.Reminds me of Jilles a few years back running full speed to the line to edge Hara who slowed slightly to make the corner where the finish line was located.

Hagberg slowed down intentionally on the last lap to block or force Sobue to make a move which would most likely hit Hagberg's car and that would usually force Sobue to allow Hagberg to move off before Sobue, a racing ethics gesture... I think this is not racing as I think it should be but rather a classical Popeye & Brutus cartoon race. Bruno allowed Hagberg to pass him on the start and he "took out" Matsukura does that make this kind of races, team racing? Bruno could have been really fast but unfortunately some devastating issues with his car. I think Bruno should have just given up A3. I would think the race director should have stepped in and set a proper precedence in this sort of races otherwise I think this sport may lose its popularity further as it already has. ** Just My Two Cents Worth **

Naoto rammed into bruno in turn 2 after he (logically) opened for Alex, that was a mistake from the japanese, not the portuguese who was in front and on the line. Naoto forgot to lift off. Re the end of the race, Alex slowing down intentionnally to force a doubtful move from Akio.... yeah, right...

LonestarPaul I personally am not a fan of this kind of racing. To me, if the driver has what it takes, just pure clean racing. Pretty obvious something going on between at least 2 teams or groups. But it is what it is, let's enjoy life as it unfolds. Cheers mate :)

Ugh. Hack. Break his rhythm. Go for the win. It'd be nice if r/c racing had penalties like F1. In this case, "causing a collison". 5 second penalty.
