Here in Taiwan where I live it has different wheels and a small 1.2cc turbo engine. I would buy this vehicle if I had engine options, wheel options (as fitted for the US market) and paint colour options (as avaiable for the US/Canadian and European market) available to me. The vehicle as its sold in Taiwan just looks unimpressive in my opinion, I am just not prepared to spend big bucks for what is without doubt an under-powered vehicle that will become even more sluggish and dead once it cranks up a high mileage, fitting a 1.2cc in this vehicle is just so stupid of Toyota! Also having a CVT is also worrisome. Its a well known fact that the European version as far much better. I will wait to see if a 2nd generation arrives and see whats been added or changed before I make up my mind to decide to purchase.

Don't care about the bells and whistles.Give the vehicle 30-40 more HP and AWD and I would trade in my car for this.

ynp1978 rumors are we may see an AWD version in 2019... I wish they had it available at launch, nevertheless, doubt we’ll see any HP increase...maybe we’ll see a Hybrid (fingers crossed).

Eh I'd rather stick with Camry, unless the future models of the CHR get more features.
