I bought a Triax .It feels little better then my Halon 6 on the draw. Little stiffer but no hump. A smoother shot and little faster. I like too buy a TX5.

And I would say this is a good starting now that I could pass down to my son when he is older.But the package was missing the release and a nock was missing from one arrow.Dealing with customer support was terrible. They suggested I buy a new release rather than correct their own quality control issue because it’s to expensive for the. to ship it out from China.Update: manufacturer got back to me and resolved the issue. I retract the above statement.

Do this Mathews ,,,, make a bow just like the Triax 36 ATA, no more than 4.4 lb, 45-55 draw lb, it would be the best of the best , no doubt ,,,,perfect for everything ,, 3D, target ,indoor , lets see this happen ,,,,, you could put any price tag on it and it would sell ,,,,,,the Triax is the quietest , bow out there , and dead as dead can be in the hand ,,, butter smooth draw as well,, so common Mathews team ,,, you can do it ,,,,,

The string angle is brutal on that triax. Less stable at long range too because of the 28" ATA. I'll stick with the Halon 32.

The triax is just Mathews riding the coattails of the success of the Halon. It's a load of garbage IMO. There's a reason why long ATA bows shoot more accurately and more consistently than short ATA bows. To name a few more stability, forgiveness, and a string angle that is more gentle for the shooter. If you believe differently then your just ignoring the facts. You may be able to shoot the triax better than I can shoot the Halon 32 but I guarantee that 9/10 people will shoot the Halon 32 better than the triax.

I bought the Halon 32 right when it came out and Ive shot it for over a year. I shot the triax and it's an inferior bow comparatively. Why would I want a shorter and less balanced bow if I can shoot the much better balanced and more accurate Halon 32? Makes no sense to me. The Halon 32 is a better bow, especially if you are a western bowhunter like me.

Halon is a much more stable plate form this is just more BS out of matthews and there’s always more people falling for the “latest and greatest” there’s a reason the halon series is probably the most popular bow and lost purchased

Triax compared to the Halon 32, H32 is a much better bow and I own both. My opinion the Triax has a much more aggressive draw cycle and much harder to pull back 70 pounds. Also, due to the acute string angle on a short axle bow, the string will be a long way from your nose when anchored, and this will also mean that the peep is a long way away, which will make getting a good sight picture difficult. I think this bow is better suited for people with a shorter draw length.

Wireline .Cables False information. The string angle is absolutely not “acute”, and since you own both have someone measure your peep sight distance on both bows once, and post the numbers here. You’d be surprised👌🏼

I increased my draw length with this bow from 27.5" to 28" & its shoots Great. 283 FPS at 60lbs. Very accurate with my sight & rest.
