I have so much respect for people that race BMX. I raced for 4 years at local tracks in Georgia in my early teens and it was a blast. But it is damn hard work to be this level. These guys don't get enough recognition. Keep the sport alive!

Good to see the sport doing great, I used to race back in my teens in Indiana for the ABA back then , late 80’s early 90,s . The best I ever got was second in state. Third in the Rockford il, nationals i sure miss those days. Awesome video by the way! Good luck.

Good stuff, my two older brothers and I raced out of the track in Janesville, WI in 1981-85. The BMX racing had recently begun and it was huge. Our little town at the time had a really nice track built. All of us kids in the neighborhood built our own tracks, jumps, whoop Dee do’s etc in the vacant lots behind our house. We would set up 2x4’s like a giant jenga in the street and have bunny hop contests. If you cleared the round you stayed in and another layer of blocks was added to the stacks. We had dudes clearing three to four feet of height. The most stupid shit we’d do was lay down as many of the younger kids in a row on the ground behind our biggest dirt jump and we would have contests seeing how many kids we could clear. We also had some nasty “table top” trick contests off that jump with epic crashes. I had to move to Ohio and they didn’t have that BMX going on like we did before so we never got back into it. I always wondered if BMX Races still took place because you never here anything anymore. It was sure huge in the 80’s and everyone would travel with bikes and trailers and RV’s to all the tracks around the Midwest with the ABA. Great memories!

sweet glad to see the sport still strong and around still I raced NBL War of Stars Tour back in the early 80's.it was a great time in my life traveling the USA BMX racing . I was State champ number one plate for 4 years in a row . only made it to #4 nationally. keep up the hard work and enjoy it . I was a great experience for me life lessons learned how to deal with sponsor and to get that money.

Fantastic clips. It seems you've got the horsepower when you're in lane 1 but whenever you're stacked mid gate somewhere, you get closed in by riders around you. Mental issue perhaps? You're pulling them from lane 1, why not from mid lane somewhere?

Your looking at gt Mac series or haro annex. Size will be Pro. However check your local/countries online forums as I would suggest spending the same money but on second hand. Used quality parts are better than new not very good parts. £325/ a used yess Liam Philips pro with carbons and okish wheels and two piece cranks.

I've been considering buying a Mongoose Title Pro, a Position One Pro or an Inspyre Pro because used bikes are too far away and there are only a Mongoose, P1 and GT dealers near.
