2018 VW Polo GTI (200hp) - DRIVE & SOUND (60FPS)

Today I can present to YOU the full Drive & Sound of the all-new 2017 / 2018 Volkswagen Polo GTI delivering 200 hp and 320 Nm of torque out of a 2.0 TSI (total weight: 1.355 kg). In our ears it does sound even better than the current Golf R...that's a surprise! And wow, this Polo GTI really rockets from the block. We did several runs and a time of around 6 seconds always was the result once using LC. Fair enough we have to mention that this GTI ran on sticky tires and had the advantage of the immense grip of a racetrack. Still, we are impressed! Ich fahre ihn seit einem Jahr.. viele meckern über das 6 Gang DSG es ist nicht m perfekt aber hat auch viele Vorteile...das Fahrwerk, für einen Kleinwagen und Frontriebler ist richtig gut. Das DSG greift nicht zu früh ein kenne ich von Audi und auch Mercedes nur zu gut. Das Auto hat jetzt ca. 30.000 km runter noch nie irgendwelche Mucken gemacht. Natürlich wie bei jedem Auto... immer ordentlich warm und kalt fahren. Ölwechsel alle 10.000 km und keine Probleme. Als Vergleich ich hatte einen Audi TT 1.80. Einen Audi TT 2.25..eien Porsche Boxster...und einen die 325 Diesel...und muss ganz ehrlich sagen alles zusammen auch Preis/ Leistung. Bisher bestes Auto..das sind nur meine ehrlichen Erfahrungen.

Weiß jemand, was man mit einem Chiptuning da rausholen kann ? An 300 Ps kommt er wahrscheinlich nicht ran oder ? Vielleicht mit Downpipe ? MTM und ABT haben da noch nichts.

MultiDunki er hat einen kleineren turbo als der gikf und leichtere innenmechanik in der Basis sind wohl ca 250 machbar ohne den Motor zu sprengen wenn du auf Haltbarkeit den Mittelfinger gibst

since when does a golf have a mechanical dif? A standard Golf GTi uses XDS. You would have to go Clubsport for a proper LSD and that is a very limited production overpriced car.

Performance GTi still has an eDiff, not a mechanical one. But you're right: even a clubsport has that e-diff and not a mechanical one. You get a full mechanical diff in a Peugeot 308 GTi, Renault Megane RS and Hyundai i30N. Pretty outrages that you don't get one in a car that costs 25% - 40% more.

Yes. I got the info months ago from VW Germany (was touring Wolfsburg/release of T-Rock), confirmed by VW Australia when I got back and it's been in the newspapers. By the way T-Rock not comming to Australia before 2020, according to VWA.

Toller kleiner Sportflitzer! Ich versteh nur nicht ganz, warum man da auf einen so großen Motor setzt. Eigentlich sind 2,0L Turbo-Aggregate "die neuen Sechszylinder" in der Mittelklasse und haben Leistungen von 250 PS aufwärts. Zum anderen hat man 200PS Teilweise schon aus nem 2L Saugmotor rausgequetscht. Aber die Ingenieure werden schon wissen, was sie das tun.

ich gehe davon aus das du von der kleinen spaßrakete Renault Clio R.S. 2.0 redest. das ding war arsch cool hatte aber verhältnismässig kaum drehmoment. mit nem turbo musst du die kiste nicht so hoch drehen lassen und ich gehe davon aus das der kleine eher so in richtung 220 230 ps streut so wie damals der 5er golf GTI (vor allem wenn du mal nach beschleunigungs videos guckst reicht das von 5.9-7.1 bei gutem/schlechtem wetter GTIs neigen wie ihr äusseres eher zu understatment was ihre leistungsabgabe angeht ;)
