Takeshi is not my favorite. I'll give that to Jensen and Evan with an equal tie because I can't decide in my own head for years now honestly but thats mainly due to more than just their yoyoing. However this freestyle reminds me of why he is a lot of peoples favorite and why I do think he is absolutely one of the greatest at this and he is one of my favorites. Not just in 1A either. This guy is just good fr. Takeshi is definitely one of the best and a lot of what people would call a "flowy" style or whatever does come from this dude or is inspired by him.

Did history just repeat itself? yoyofactory player took 1st while Takeshi who deserved it much more got 2nd even though everyone wanted and expect him to win? I wouldn’t even be super annoyed, but Evan used a freestyle everyone seen before...and I did see his video explaining he wanted to perfectly nail that freestyle so he practiced it forever, etc etc, but legit everyone came up with a new freestyle and there’s was amazing still

YoyoCuber Takeshi is unreal. That does not mean Evan didn’t deserve to win, his performance was much more varied than Takeshi even if the tricks were easier to execute. This is WYYC it makes absolutely no difference what any player has done at any other contest, this operates separate from all of them, so saying Evan performed the same routine makes no difference whatsoever.
