Very gentle! Few times they are more violent. However I suggest you to use b-raisers handle to control the wing in straight flight, brakes are bad!

Was that lee side turbulence?And what is a proper collapse for a d wing?

There might have been a breath of air from the other side of that rocky face. The winds were relatively light that day so air movement was mainly dictated by thermals. I had very few collapses on this glider and all of them were, surprisingly, unspectacular. Still, this collapse was special, as it took a bit longer to reopen and I got a secondary collapse on the other wing tip. Where do you fly?
