In the end got one just the same. Ex demo with 150 mile on the clock (after I test rode it for an hour). Very Happy. Your negative points really didn't put me off as its my pretend WSBK machine to use when the weather is fine. I have an old GPZ1000RX engined GPZ750R as a daily communter machine to use at other times. Thanks for the review and your balanced realistic opinion.

Great review, tells me I should save up for a Gen 5 if my 04 ever fails me. Love the first Gen myself but have nothing really to compare it with

Ninja 951 the first generation was one of my favs even compared to my current bike. But the Gen 5 is a lovely bike to ride and very well priced

Lets Review It I won my first club race on a KR1S 250! I also won on a Zxr400 too when I raced SS400’s - but switched to an R1 when I went stock 1000’s - shame all my race bikes ended up in carrier bags 😩😂😂

Love the ZX10R...I'll toying with the idea of either getting a 2021 or a showroom 2019. We'll see. informative review but watch the audio. I had to turn the volume up due to the wind coming through the microphone.

Prabhanjan Navarathna the GSXR is a little smoother on throttle pick up but at the top end the ZX10R has better response in my opinion

@@prabhanjannavarathna6466 It really depends. Both bikes have switchable power modes so on the road you can make them as soft or aggressive as you like. I've not ridden the new GSXR on track but I've heard its easier to ride albeit slightly softer. Its quite a personal thing. Out of the two bikes for me the ZX10R is better in most areas but theres no arguing the GSXR is amazing value for money.
