No flex pipe on inlet pipe yet the factory exhaust had it... please explain how they are safely eliminating the flex pipe? The flex pipe does serve a purpose so it doesn't make sense to me.

does anyone know how these exhausts sound with the dynamic fuel management when it drops cylinders? i remember on my 2017 silverado when i took off the stock exhaust and valve, it sounded like a helicopter inside of the cab when the afm kicked in.

Delete your AFM/DOD. Sooner or later you’re gonna have a lifter collapse on you, causing your truck to misfire. Then you won’t have worry about how it sounds on 4 cylinders.

Dakota Whitman it shouldn't mess with warranty if it's after the catalytic converter

GM has used Borla in the past, we are not sure if they are still using them, it is a possibility. As for your warranty, that would be a question for your dealer to answer. Some dealers are OK with simple modifications and others are not.

@@american_chevy616 If you go to the Chevy website, and build a new Silverado w/ 6.2L Borla exhaust is a $2k option that includes a factory performance Cold air intake . I don't see how they could tell you it voids the Warranty.

@@johnsimet6267 I have 2019 Chevrolet high country 6.2 the dealer just check the brakes just a recall. They adjusted and my mechanic installed a k&n air system and a sports cosa exhaust. They was 👌 OK no problem , just happen today, The Corsa sports sound great 👍

I have 2020 gmc denali 6.2l v8 gasoline, all stock, when i try to rev it while parked it can only go up to 3000rpm with full throttle, is that normal? Dealer said its normal for newer model, can you please let me know? Thank you sir

Unfortunately not, the cross member is welded in place. Since that is done you will have to cut a part of the exhaust for removal.

Technically it should not void the whole warranty, you will void any warranty pertaining to the exhaust. We do suggest to check with your servicing dealer to see how they would treat the modification since they are the ones to make the final call on your warranty.

Can someone explain to me how they get away with having a loud stock exhaust option? Loud exhausts are technically illegal where I am (although VERY unenforced. Like VERY lol) how come it’s legal for them to do this, but technically I can’t buy it and put this on after the fact? How does GM get around that

GM now sells a performance exhaust for the 5.3 and 6.2 that you can purchase through dealer. It's a Borla, but I don't know what level: touring, S-type, or Atak. I would recommend this GM exhaust only because of the AFM. The GM exhaust comes with a valve to eliminate the helicopter sound when the engine goes into 4V mode. I bought a Borla exhaust without the valve, so now I had to purchase a Range Tech to keep the engine in 8V mode.
