You got your radio installed and if so. What year is your hino and you came across any issues and what you did with the red speed sensor wire? Just leave it alone unplugged?

Leave the wire alone. The transmission gets affected and it ends up needing to be towed. Nice huge dealer bill that could be avoided. You wanna know what its for? Its so the radio can increase and decrease in volume. As if those 2 speakers are going to shatter the windows. 🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️🤣🤣

Dash kit, pretty sure you dont need. Its a perfect opening for a double din for most American style radios. Pioneer, Alpine etc. I want to go through all my videos and make sure they are all up tp snuff. So I will put a link to a similar radio. Let me get you one.

Do you need a 24v headunit or does the factory headunit already have a 12v voltage reducer

I just stole the important stuff. Speakers and power. Left the factory radio because of the speed sense wire. Watch closely and pay attention to what im saying. I explain the whole problem

@@richideates but no matter what you do you gonna have to leave both radios or if you do it right from the beginning is there a way of not having to keep both radios ?

Yes you can have only one radio. Just make sure you watch and listen..

Well that was years ago. I try to put "EVERYTHING" in but its hit or miss. Some people care, most do not. Some of it is fill in the blanks because it should be self explanatory. But again, up to either party to decipher. But just be careful with that truck, leave that wire alone

All you have to do is just pull the dash surround..and then there will be 4 screws holding in the radio..then it is up to the video to instruct you

Does this method apply to a 2015 as well? And what dash kit did you use?

You dont need a dash kit if you do a double din..notlr a single if you have the separate pockets..As far as the 2015, all I can say is that I did a one year older model which I believe was a 2018 and it did not have this issue. BUT, double check anything before you proceed. All you need are the 3 power wires and the front speaker wires, rear if they have them. Everything else is not needed and not needed to tap into.

Yes..make sure you do not have any other wires other than the front speakers, red,yellow and black..everything else is not needed..if you accidentally hooked up the other ones..it might have to go to the dealer and reset..it will not drive if you hook up any other wires from that harness..listen to what I say, jot just what I show

70-1761..but DO NOT USE THIS HARNESS.. the time you will take to modify the harness..you can just grab the 6 wires that you need..10 if you have the back speakers which most trucks dont have
