2019-2022 Honda Insight: Getting Ruby back from the dealer

Okay this is the aftermath of my visit to the dealer for a new vent, an oil change, and a possible brake problem.

I'm so tired of this car. Every winter here in Michigan the carpet liner thing under the car for aerodynamics rips and tears and it's expensive to replace

I've never had this problem. I guess I go out of my way to not drive on any streets until a storm is finished and it's been well plowed. You might want to look online and see if you can buy this part from some wrecked insights to reduce the replacement cost. Since you're in Michigan you no doubt get a lot of snow so I can't speak for how often you have to drive within snow storms and how often you have to trudge through significant snow on the road. I agree it shouldn't be so fragile or expensive, but I would have to comment better the cover than what's underneath it. I'm figuring you must be going through a lot of deep snow and ice, or badly plowed areas for this to be happening.

how much mpg you get in the winter.. i get 30 after finishing a full tank (highway driving)

Your numbers are not out of the ordinary for winter depending on many factors. Remote starting habits, drive distance, snow amounts on road, amount of wheel spin, speeds and road types, and distances traveled. All these things can really affect gas mileage. I think I might do another mini-take video on winter gas mileage and expectations.
