I just purchased a 21 Tremor and I am very impressed with the the power train. Was next to a 21 taco the other day waiting for the light to change and enter the freeway. I guess the guy wanted to race as he kept gunning his engine while looking in my direction. Well it was very early with no traffic and a long on ramp so I dropped it down to sport mode and basically smoked him like a cheap cigar lol. Kinda felt like a rebel for a second. Great job Ford!

I am 2 years and 70,000 kms into my '21 Ranger, and here's the warranty list so far- faulty passenger door seal- 0 kms. Fuel pump and sender fail at 9500 kms. Rear axle seals (both) fail at 12,500 kms. Headlight lamp- 17,000 kms. Front ABS sensors and wiring harness (both) fail- 22,000 kms. SYNC system processor fail - 40,000 kms. And now, at 70,000 kms the transmission is being rebuilt because of erratic and inconsistent shifting. This truck is a lemon, and the best Ford Canada will do for me is extend my powertrain warranty by 1 year (but no extra kms). Once it's fixed, I'm trading the bastard in on a Nissan.

Watch your coolant closely only a matter of time before the head gasket blows just out of warranty if you see that your coolant has dropped at all take it in immediately as it will start slow and be hardly noticeable until it just gives

When I get my Bronco I'm planning on the 2.3l. I don't see much advantage to the 2.7 other than edge on acceleration. Testing driving the 2.3 Bronco it's more punchy than my V6 Tacoma.

So for the first time my 2021 Ranger XLT went into reduced power mode(only have 68000kms on it), the dealership now tells me that the Ranger is experiencing problems with moisture in the intake manifold and will have to be replaced as well as the inlet tube and possible throttle body . Their parking lot is now starting a collection of Rangers that don't like the cold ( I live in Canada where it will hit -46c)

Semantics. Our point when we say it accessed from underneath means it's not accessible from above. Whether you have to go through the wheel well or from underneath, it's not accessible from the top of the engine compartment as you stand and look down as some vehicles have when the filter is at the top of th engine. That's the point.

They'd have better luck selling these if they had an electric engine! There's so much crap in the engine compartment that it's hard to say which component will go bad first! Since most of the parts are outsourced to other country's there's going to be no quality in the manufacturing of the part's!!

You lost me when you said "sealed transmission" , you lost any credibility you had when you said that ... Anyone with any legit automotive knowledge knows there is no such thing as a sealed transmission regardless of any make.. That's just a term manufacturers use to make you think that you don't have to spend extra money on maintenance.... In reality you really do if you want your vehicle to last more than 100.000 miles
@TDTVGarage
@TDTVGarage 2 жыл бұрын
Point of term "sealed transmission" in our context is to convey there is no dipstick for the average customer to check fluid or top it off as in the old days of cars. Indeed, manufacturers don't want customers monkeying around with fluids in automatic transmissions as 98% will screw them up by over/under filling and/or with the incorrect fluid - and cost the manufacturer warranty claims. That is why they are "sealed".
@Whatsa-jaguar-now
@Whatsa-jaguar-now 2 жыл бұрын
It's a little screw cap on top of the transmission tray where the long dipstic used to go. Replaced and looks like a small engine dipstick.
