Last time I was told it's a 2.5 not a 2.0 to level it so which one is it and what size tires can I get without cutting the crash bar don't mind adding the spacer ?

If you put a 3" leveling kit on the new Ranger, would you still have to cut out the crash bars to fit a 33" tire? Want bigger tires but don't want to take out safety gear.

Do this lift but also put an add-a-leaf to get back to higher rear. I did so on my f150 and made all the difference. Level trucks dont work. They squat too much to use.

I have the FP/Fox 2.0 coil over kit w/Nitto AT 33’s ... handles great

Nice! I’m about to do the exact same but different tire. Do you think 255/80/17 will fit without trimming with the FP/2.0’s? [stock rims]

Patrick Amos Patrick Amos w/o doing the quick math I’d say yes (you may have to) but I wouldn’t swear to it. I’m running 275/65 R 18’s for comparison .. I switched to the Icon 2.5 reservoirs on all 4 corners .. there’s a noticeable difference on/off road compared to the FPP 2.0 .. let me know how yours turns out

Patrick Amos mine came with the FPP Fox 2.0 coil over level kit (dealer installed) when I purchased it. I switched to the ICON 2.5’s later

Gingerbread Man oh wow! Did you like the FPP Fox? What made you decide to go to the Icons over the Fox? I’m exactly on that fence. My application would be hunting roads and a smooth ride for the lady while hunting every other weekend.

Love this series, what to get a ranger myself and would like to do some of these same mods. I look forward to seeing what else you do to it. Also is there much after-market off-road gear and parts avalible for these yet? I mean beside the stuff shown here.

Doesn't this change the steering geometry, specifically the caster angle? I'd want to maintain factory geometry and install a leveling kit, is it possible?

how does the truck handle trailering after the level kit? does it cause the front in to ride higher than the rear?

I want a street minded kit, but more clearance for country trail access if that makes sense. 🤔 maybe a 32 at most. It's a daily driver, so I care about road handling.

I think I have the only truck on the market that you can put 33‘s on with just a leveling kit. Chevy ZR2. My lease is soon to expire and I like this truck but I can’t start cutting things on a lease. Ugh

Probably I put level then 1 inch spacer took out crash bar and the block in the back of the wheel well then cut a little more into crash bar and cleared 35s

I drive 200 to 300 miles a day and i have to fill up pretty much every morning. Wish it had a 22gal atleast. My old truck had a 26 gallon tank and got similar gas mileage so id get almost 700 miles to a tank ❤ im getting 340 to 370 to a tank now

Ranger is a let down no 4 door 6ft bed. Small fuel tank. And with the single spring bed sags bad with loads. IMHO it's not a real truck with only 5.5ft bed.

It's a mid size that being said has more towing and load capacity than other mid size. You probably need a full size if those are your main complaints
