2019+ Acura RDX Dash Rattle Fix.

I just completed this fix today. I think I fixed it. You need to use small foam diameters though. I had to cut my 2 1/4” stuff into quarters to get it to fit in the seams. Thanks a lot OP for this video. Cheers!

Thanks for posting. I have a 2020 rdx advance. I have the same rattle coming from were the a pillar and dash come together just as you described. While it rattles(not on smooth roads) I can push my finger in the gap and it stops. I've used a rubber trim piece that I stuffed in the gap area and it works for about a few days then comes back. I'll try the foam rubber and stuff in the line above the gap. I didn't know you could stuff anything in there. I'm going to the dealer next week and give them a shot...I'll bring video. Then once they can't recreate it I'll do the foam. Thanks!

How did the foam work for you? I am experiencing it now, my vehicle is still under warranty, do you recommend I just bring it in?

This is Genius and thanks!! I have a 2019 RDX developing same rattles and extremely difficult to track down. One refinement, I used 1/2” backer rod used for concrete crack filling and it fits and works perfectly. Thanks!!!

I have 2020 RDX advance, same problem as your. Before I watched your video I thought it came from HUD because it just happened front driver. I will try it hope can solve problem.

I am having this same issue in my brand new 2022 Acura RDX. I have had it checked by the dealer and was told that rattling noise was designed as such and I had told them it was the stupid design I have ever heard offf.
