They didnt even mention the amazing ELS 3D stereo system. That is easily on par with the types in Mercedes, Volvo, Audi and BMW.

The system in my wife’s fully loaded 2017 MDX SH-AWD Advance is even better than the B&O system in my 2018 Audi S3.

I agree. I liked the first one, but the last generation was bllaahh. They really hit this one out of the park if you ask me. A-Spec in White with the red interior is making me want to make bad decisions without my wife knowing

@@jayprimo JD Power just slammed the RDX on reliability and some other issues. The TLX was not given good reliability marks last yr. by Consumer Reports. I don't know what this year will produce...especially with the PMC-Editions scheduled to hit the showrooms.

I own a 2011 RDX and love it. It’s firm, the turbo is fun and the SH-AWD is amazing. The last generation was to neutral to please buyers. I’m truly excited for this one. Anyone who’s a Honda fan knows this isn’t a nicer CRV. The automatic transmission is different, SH-AWD is much better than the Honda AWD, and the stereo sounds amazing in the RDX. This is a hell of a buy for people looking at premium 50K and below.

@atmartens6 жыл бұрын
One Hmong If you think 50K is a lot, then you better cross off Audi, BMW, Mercedes and Volvo. Most theirs by the time you add leather seats are already at 50K. If you don’t believe me, watch Alex On Autos, he does a great comparison and review on the RDX that explains that.

@@onehmong9368 Car's are expensive now, period. As for the RDX, it's price is comparable to it's class. To be honest, a fully loaded RDX is going to be a bargain compared to others.

Not a very good road test Motorweek. Didnt take it over potholes and washboard road imperfections. Not even on dirt trails. Yes, this new generation of SH_AWD is very proactive and and sporty, but this is only one aspect. How does the ride compare to the competion in this regard.

It’s ok! I like it for the most part! I had a chance to sound off on some things. For the 💰💰💰I’m paying there are some downright cheap accessories that are disappointing. But I’ll have it for 3 years and hopefully they will listen to us. I don’t see many of them on the road though!

Acura has a problem. Most of their vehicles come with CD Players, but for some unknown reason they decided not to include one with the RDX....BIG MISTAKE! Also, since the sell more RDX's, MDX's, and TLX's than RLX's they should make the KRELL Audio System available for these models as an option.

@Canadian RS3 What is Unbelievable to you is that your mind can't comprehend WHY having a CD Player is important to some people. It's like trying to explain to a millennial why Jim Brown is the Greatest NFL Running back of all time when Emmitt Smith has the most rushing yards. They don't get it. One guy played when there were 12 games per season and the other played 16. Big Difference. Many Baby Boomers still have Record Collections, and some of us who are Audiophiles with High End Stereo Systems (so we KNOW what true Hi Fidelity sounds like) not only have Turntables and CD Players, we have have high quality Cassette Tape Decks also. Many of us enjoyed our CD's in our cars...and are looking to buy a vehicle WITH A CD PLAYER IN IT! If you enjoy the compressed trash that you listen to on these streamin' services, then continue to listen. Just know that whatever it is you think you're hearing would sound so much better in another format. Is it listenable? Yes. I've heard music on all the formats, but none of it is great music. Now, in case you don't believe me, find the nearest high end Stereo Shop and go down with you IPOD, IPhone, and ask to test one of their high end units. First find a CD that they have that they will play for you, and before you play theirs, find the same songs on one of your streaming services. Have them play it, then play the same song off the CD and hear the difference.....yeah, you'll sitting there saying "Unbelievable".

July 11, 2019 - An Acura RDX infotainment lawsuit alleges the systems suffer from problems with the radios, backup cameras and the audio and navigation systems. The 2019-2020 RDX SUVs are allegedly a danger to drive because of the distractions caused by the infotainment problems.

Mo Mo Subaru, especially 2011 era, does not offer anything near luxury or near luxury classes. My 2016 Buick Envision 2.0T was $35K with 3,500 miles and CPO to 100,000 miles. It offers torque vectoring AWD along with heated steering wheel, cooled seats, adaptive heads that articulate side to side, hands free lift gate and rear cross traffic alert, self parking and self steering, and adaptive cruise control and heads up display and pano roof.

Wow! Your comparing your 11” Subaru Forester to a 19” Acura RDX?, if you were comparing it to a CRV sure, but not an RDX. The 16k cost gap with the two is clearly justifiable.
@jayprimo6 жыл бұрын
NO WAY! *_Another_* Subaru with a cat-back exhaust and reflash? Gee, i never seen _that_ before. 🙄 Also, 46k is *LOADED*. A base RDX with AWD, for comparitive reasons to a Subaru, is 39,300. Adjusting for inflation, that's only 5k more than what you paid. Considering the level of luxury you're getting with the Acura, plus the reliabilty of Honda > Subaru, there's *zero* comparison. Should we even discuss the extra 3 grand you paid for mods, and this thing would still walk on you? Lol
