I typically carry 2 knives + multitool. As you said, one for a "tactical" blade (usually my Microtech Ultratech, double serrated) and a utility knife (Strider SnG). But no matter what, I always have my Leatherman Wave. The watch favorite is a Citizen Diver 200m for normal EDC, but the Suunto Traverse Alpha is the outdoors favorite.

I have had to send my Knockout in twice now for blade replacement. The original blade developed a hairline crack at the thumb stud. The replacement blade developed the same crack at the thumb stud. Not wanting to have to pay to send it in again I just kept on using it and that blade completely broke in half. I believe its a design flaw as where the stud hole is drilled doesn't leave much meat between the edge of the hole and spine of the blade. Have you guys had an issue with any of your knockouts? Did i just get unlucky twice? I wish they just left the thumb stud/hole off as the size of the thumb stud and the fact that the knife as a flipper make the thumb stud useless.

You two are so cool together. Only issue I have is the cost of the Halo knife line... 5-900.00 is a huge concern. I should point out that I spend freely on my kitchen knives including a $750 limited edition Shun dual core chef knife. So what I would request is a new vid on why the expense is justified and how you get what you pay for. I am interested in a semi-religious transformation regarding everyday carry and readiness. I would ask a little guidance for thinking... btw, love the channel. Am an old ex-marine (accepting that there is no such thing as ‘ex’) forced to admit the times require a new - but old and familiar - outlook. FYI- my watch is a Citizen E820, eco-drive. Solar powered and pretty sweet if more of a dress watch. I wear it at all times.
