I know you don't carry a backup, but would you consider carrying a backup like a small NAA .22LR revolver in something like a neck sheath? I understand it is a small caliber, but as stated by Iraqvetran8888, "it's still a gun".

nutnfancy Do you live out in the boonies, the countryside? Or do you live in the suburbs? I'm guessing you are not a city guy. I think you carry way too many knives, overkill, and unnecessary. I would get rid of a few of those knives and carry a 6 in 1 full sized screwdriver set, like the one they sell at Home Depot. The screwdriver can also be used as a weapon and can also be used for prying things open. This is even better than your little titanium crowbar because it gives you much better grip and leverage, AND it is a lot cheaper. And of course, the 6-1 Husky screwdriver set can be very useful for what it is intended for. You don't have that capability in your kit. I carry my Husky 6-1 screwdriver in my fanny pack with the shaft removed to shorten the screwdriver for compact carrying. I also don't remember seeing a lighter in your kit. Flint and steel is good for backup, but a lighter is much easier to use and more practical in most situations. They are also very light and cheap. Did you even have flint and steel? Don't remember seeing that either. And if you carry a pen, why not a notepad? www.homedepot.com/p/Husky-6-in-1-Reversible-Screwdriver-Set-4-Piece-74361/100043138

Do you have an alternative holster to the shoulder holster for your PF9 concealed carry, other than belt clip? Did you make the backing piece for the belly band Kahr 9 holster? I find needing to have a t-shirt between the belly band and my skin.

I'm glad I came across your channel a while back, I used to carry only a folding knife, in addition to wallet, keys, cell phone. Nutn.. to your point of horizontal carry, I agree with you. Even if you front pocket carry, when you sit down, the weapon is horizontal. Use a desantis or something similar and go to lunch with your wife or friend, you may be pointing it at them. (although I always try to turn my leg a bit) The important part is it's holstered in a quality holster.... my 2c's... BTW, what are your thoughts on the PF9 plastic guide rod? I'm surprised you don't carry measuring or fire tools. I carry a 6' tape and a Zippo. I live in Chicago so many lethal tools are not possible. I would carry my S&W 632, but can't carry in IL. I typically carry a Gerber Epic and Crucial, though I rarely wear the Epic in Chicago proper so the Crucial's blade and bottle opener provide a nice redundancy. The Nebo CSI Luma50 is a nice size compromise between the Preon 1 and 2, and I'm not a fan of twist ons. Any 2012 updates?

Consider this, not trying to force my opinion just curious about your thoughts. You draw your weapon with your right, what happens if someone attacks you mid draw? You can't get shots off and now your fighting for control of the weapon. Do you want your knife on your left or your right? Someone mentioned this to me and it made total sense so I'm trying to become decent with my knife left handed.

Been a long time TNPer but I dont EDC, maybe someone could clarify this for me. Is carrying 4 knives really necessary? @reeseman67 Ive never really had the stinging from super glue.. it does tingle a bit. Ethyl 2 cyanoacrylate is one of the main ingredients in most super glues which is used in surgeries for stitches which also act as a mild disinfectant. From my experience once i get the bleeding to stop, super glue will seal up the wound and prevent it from reopening all while keeping it try to decrease healing time. Great for a quick first aid solution for cuts and scratches.

I don't carry to the extent that you do, however, I always carry at least a medium knife and my LCP. Vehicle carries my lights, multi tool, P239, rope, etc. I will probably upgrade to carry a few more items since I have seen this vid. One thing you might should mention is the climate you, or the individual lives in. I live in the South, so summer time comes I'm not wearing pants and multiple shirts. So a knife and a pistol is easy to carry, not much else. Thanks for the vids. Good job, brother.
