Agreed. I just picked up the same Midnight Edition not too long ago and ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! Chevy REALLY hit a home run with the ZR2. Looks-wise it's VERY nice, aggressive without being over-the-top, wheels/tire combo is about perfect and sharp-looking, and the factory fender bulge adds to the aggressive look. Interior is nice (especially the seats!), and the acceleration offers a LOT of pep, and it's a very comfortable driving vehicle, to boot. I also love the fact that for a truck, it's not too big, which makes it easier to park and zip in and out of traffic with no problems. All-around visibility is good. I honestly don't have a single complaint about it, though if I were to nitpick I'd say the fuel economy (not the greatest, but around 16-20MPG isn't bad). But everywhere else, Chevy just killed it with the ZR2.

@Bryan J Canadian speech defect. Apparently they can't just say "Zee" (like "Bee" or "Cee" or "Dee"), so something compelled them to say "Zed" instead. Truth be told, it's just a unnecessarily pretentious way to say Z.

I have the 2017 ZR2 gas version this is a fantastic truck all the way around and yes the cabin is very quiet even with these Goodyear Dura tracks go test drive one for yourself you’ll see!

I own the jeep Rubicon. I am picking up my zr2 this week I ordered it with the lift and 35 tires.i won't buy a off road vehicle without front and rear lockers period. That's a deal breaker for me.

If you want truck that can survive a motor vehicle accident and a real off roading scenarios . Get a Chevy Zr2. If u want a simple daily driver with no expectation of real off roading get a tacoma.

Has anybody had any transmission issues? I had a 2016 Colorado LT with six speed and it was a nightmare. Just purchased a 2019 ZR2 And so far so good but people are mentioning that the eight speed is a problem. I hope not

i had the 16 trailboss.I can tell you this truck is way to heavy for its v6 engine . It is very sluggish between 2nd and 3rd gear . Also for the price of this vehicle they should of upgraded the interior .

I had high hopes for the diesel but they just slapped the Duramax name on a generic Taiwanese diesel engine and acted like it was something special. I'm glad I went with the V6, I enjoy the extra power and speed, especially in a sporty truck like the ZR2. I've had no issues Towing or driving offroad.

Now, why didn't Chevy build a proper Blazer on this platform in order to match the new Bronco coming from Ford? No...That would be too macho. Can't have too many "real" trucks in the barnyard. Instead, they built a sorry-assed crossover and humiliated the good "Blazer" name.

DO Not Agree............I also have 2018 ZR 2 with 26k plus in after market up grade s,, truck is a total Piece of shit nothing but problems.. 17 k miles now on brand new engine being installed 3 months still at dealer. Diesel blew # 2 cylinder then they said i spun main bearing. Mechanic said never seen Dura max have so many problems. more than a year and a half in dealers and fabrication shops, cannot go more that 1056 miles with out a tow. No more tows left using credit cards now. Nice looking fun when you can drive it to the end of block, or trying to get some where but just cannot get there.. Review HMM 52k new 26 in extras and still have more parts to install but terrible truck mechanically...Good luck to all the owners i always buy fords but this was truck of the year..John
