Correction, the only minivan with AWD is the Sienna.

That’s what I thought. The new chrysler pacifica will be available with awd

Wow! I think it’s the first time I’ve felt envious over a minivan. That’s nice! Seems like it would be great for long road trips.

I was also looking at it from a campervan perspective! With electrical energy already stored in the car Thank you for that

AWD Odyssey? Where? Configurator at Automobiles.honda.com shows no such vehicle. Google search reveals same.

Maybe you meant Sienna?

Actually was thinking Pilot the non-van Honda Van. But yes, Sienna is good with AWD.

Nice blue. Surprised this PHEV Van doesn't get more buzz. Every review says it's really good.

I can understand why you didn’t mention the Dodge Grand Caravan due to its age but you definitely forgot about the Kia Sedona it’s a nice minivan especially in sxl trim
@drivingsports5 жыл бұрын
The vans mentioned were the top three in the class.

So if the only minivan you would take over the Pacifica Hybrid is a Honda Odyssey AWD that does not exist, that says a lot for the Pacifica.

The Pacifica is great.

Man, I remember when minivans were awesome and a status symbol (early-mid 90s)

Yes, and now they’re more a symbol of defeat. ;) But I still love mine.

I would like to have seen the adaptive cruise control work. It's not even listed as a feature on the Chrysler website.
@brianmartin39205 жыл бұрын
Actually, it is, but it's not clear which models/trims have it. And, they claim it works down to 0 mph.

I do like how you review cars and put them to test. Would you please do a review of the 2020 Toyota Sienna Limited AWD and drive it in your famous rocky dirt road or the sandy/clay hill climb - AL of Montreal. Thanks.

If your speed is in the 35mph zone, you need to be alert for traffic lights, pedestrians, etc.. It makes sense that the system doesn't work at 35mph.

I probably would choose the pacifica non hybrid to live in. Stow n go is awesome
@DavidElCid3004 жыл бұрын
Think about this. It's hot or cold outside so you'd need to run the engine all night. You'd be burning gas. But with the electric, you could run quietly all night and not spend a dime on gas.
@ericpham91064 жыл бұрын
We can use air water pressurized hydraulic electric generator that we need no refueling and drive forever without gas if gas run out.

The Pacificas put together in Canada instead of Detroit so at least the workers are semi intelligent and put pride in their work. Jokes aside, the Pacifica is not the problem child of FCA, it's American made models such as Jeep Wrangler and Dodge Charger/Challenger. The other niggle was the Fiat 500L.
@robertduklus65554 жыл бұрын

Thanks for the great review! Do you recall how many miles you got from a full battery before the engine kicked in? Was the 32 mile battery range accurate in your experience?
@palecompass35984 жыл бұрын
I have a plug-in hybrid, and the range actually depends on the season and how you use it. Ours is more efficient in summer.

I'm just curious as to why people even consider the chrysler when the Honda has proven reliability and better resale value. I mean stow and go is sweet but not enough for me to sway me from Honda, Toyota or even kia is making a name too. They are both nice looking vehicles, priced the same then why buy something proven to have alot more issues after the warranty runs out? Here in Canada Honda and Toyota dominate the mini van market.
