Madeira is one of the most interesting places I've ever visited. The Panda suits the roads there. I had a Panda for 10 years and it was the most solid and reliable car I've ever owned.

Since I live in the vicinity of a big city, I noticed that the third generation Fiat Panda is driven a lot, both privately and officially. In the neighborhood where I live, two neighbors drive official cars of the third generation Panda brand. one is without the van version, and the other is the passenger version.

Under the radio in your Panda, you have a black button with a white steering wheel drawn on it, with the English word CITY written below it. When you press the CITY button, it becomes easier to operate the steering wheel when parking.

Same place, same car in 2014! Car rental suggested to fill the car with 98 or more petrol due to low car hp… i remember Also the brake burn smell after downhill!!!! Madeira is always in my ❤️

Resting your hand on the gear stick while it's in gear may cause you to unwittingly apply pressure to the selector fork and other internal parts. Avoid doing that.

Nice. We were just in Madeira and we rented this hybrid Fiat Panda. It was ok but sometimes it could not accelerate to a decent speed. Going up was also a problem sometimes even in second gear so I had to go to a stop and use the handbrake to start again. I have only one observation. I never see you holding the wheel with both hands, why is that? I get that you change gears often, especially in Madeira, but for safety purposes hands should always be on the weel, at 10 and 2 o'clock :) Happy driving!

I had this shit on mallorca, hired, petrol engine. Reving till end all the time at 37 degrees. Hoops and bumps crossed without brake. 6.5l /100km - I think it was very good. Only bad thing was, when I shift, my gear leather padding go up, with all stuff around. I saw that transmission mechanism under 😅 anyway. If you have 7km to work and sometimes shopping, nice car to buy.

You can use a lower gear while going downhill to reduce the need for brakes, there is no point in upshifting while going down hill and then standing and possibly overheating the brakes

@@miguel2946 I had rented this car when we were in Madeira two weeks ago. With small exceptions when going to the middle of the island where we had to use 1st gear to go up, it performed okish. It had a hard time accelerating at times on the motorway :D
