Fords adaptive cruise control systems are pretty difficult to remember. The explorer is not stop and go. The regular adaptive cruise control systems, vary depending on vehicle, as far as what speeds they deactivate.

I have a 2019 Ford Explorer Platinum 2019. Is the center gear shifter backlit ? Mine is not or l can not find the setting. The terrain management system dial is backlit.

The only thing that should be lit is the gear you are in, park, reverse, drive.

Only on the dash behind the steering wheel. The gear I am in is not llighting do not know why.

@@matthewrowley9679 Ford allows you to build previous models as well. I heard the 2019 product or the ability for the dealer to put in an order is closed. They will have a 2 month plant switch over period to the 2020 model and then the 2020 Explorers should be arriving in June or July.

You switch the audio source to usb, plug in your phone and play your favorite music source on your phone (amazon music, sirius, spotify, itunes) or it will play music you have on a usb thumb drive as well. I like to bluetooth my phone and play music in a playlist I have on Amazon Music.
