Thank you so much for this very informative video! We just bought a 2021 XLT and I didn’t realize some if the things you mentioned like the lift gate height adjustment or the need for the special funnel when fueling from a gas can. This should be standard viewing for LL Explorer owners.

I just got my 2021 XLT Explorer. I’m loving it. I dont mind the Auto Stop feature but I do worry of the repetitive Auto Stop in matter of seconds when in traffic & creeping up. Obviously FORD has done testing to it but I just want to know, will it hurt the Starter or Engine?

I have no idea why Ford decided to have a slice in the floor carpet next to the front side seats. On my Explorer, the slice ends are de-threading revealing a white thread which just looks nasty. You can see the slice on this video at 25:40

Went from a 18 platinum to a 21 xlt, no chips no vehicles to choose from at all...how do you man. shift in sport mode now they have no paddles like the platinum ?

Love the Explorer, i have one question... if i buy one with the 35/30/35 rear bench seat, and later decide, i'd like to have rear buckets, can I as a customer take the 30% section out?

That seat is bolted in I believe so it may leave holes or just brackets

Hi Tim Bartz, I need your help. I have the Ford Explorer 2021 XLT It only has 19,600 miles. Is it normal for my temperature gauge when driving to have 4 marks or 4 dashes instead of 3 dashes on the gauge. I’m in Southern California and it’s been triple digits over here.

Hello, I have 2021 Ford Explorer 2.3t with about 20k miles. A/c is having some wierd smell coming fr vents..its comes and go. Its not smell of feet,or humid..its more of an Ozone smell or kinda metallic smell..ford dealer in SA,TX..could not duplicate the issue..anybody having same issue or what done to fix it... *NO coolant or a/c leak. * I've done electrolysis test with multimeter its fine and coolant not dirty (visually and numbers i got for the meter)..or should i just do a coolant flush? Any ideas? Also this videos also helped us buying our 21 Explorer. Love the our car,but the smell is ugly..

I believe some of those are available in the apps section but you can stream them through your phone if your phone is connected by bluetooth. I do that with Sirius on my phone.

Shame Ford Corporate doesn't have a designated spokesman explaining each of their vehicles to us. I was considering Kia Telluride until learning about Ford's 360 co-pilot/park assist. I'm getting up in age and needing a second pair of eyes driving. I wished Ford hadn't stopped manufacturing the Econoline Passenger Vans. I currently own a 2001 E-150 Conversion Van with 180,000 miles no major repairs i.e. engine/trans. She burns 1/2 quart of oil per 3,000 miles. The engine is a Triton V8 330 CI/5.4L which I read will reach 500K before needing an overhaul. If only wasn't so darn expensive to merge my E-150 conversion van section to the E-SERIES. I actually need an E-250 which Ford doesn't sell. Seems America is losing its identity shifting to European designs. I've sat in the Transit's driver seat...... not impress. There's no way I could drive 8 hours in the transit seat like I could in my E-150 Conversion Van.

Blind Spot Monitoring is standard on all Explorers in 2021 as part of the Co-Pilot 360.

I noticed this on my recently purchased 2020 Ford Explorer XLT as well. It does not look appealing at all; but at the same time, it isn't a luxury SUV. I do wish something was done about this, however.
