The symbol is also referred to as the “Running W”. It has many meanings as stated here, one as it looks like a rattlesnake, also, the long horns of the bulls and also, to signify the past and future. Richard King (founder of King Ranch) branded his own breed of cattle that he created called the Santa Gertrudis with this symbol, which is a cross between a Brahman and a Shorthorn. The "Running W" is King Ranches' "brand" which the brand was thought up and put in place due to all the rattlesnakes on their land located in South Texas between Corpus Christi and Brownsville near Kingsville, TX, it is the largest ranch in Texas.

Nice Review?? I just got my 2020 King Ranch with the 3.5 Eco Boost.Love it. I traded in a 2013 f150 Platinum with the 5.0, which was great, and I was sure I was going to get another 5.0 until I test drove it. The 5.0 felt sluggish compared to the 3.5. Never thought I would have believed it. I have been driving V8's since the 60's, this 3.5 EB puts them all to shame. The 2020 King Ranch is 1100 lbs. lighter than the 2013 Platinum paired with that 3.5 it is spunky. Did I mention I am getting 17 -19MPG. around town? The max tow package gets you a 36 gallon tank, may be overkill. Also max tow gets you the transmission cooler, and oil cooler, nice touch...
