Saturday I just bought the 2016 f150 Platinum for $28,800. Had high mileage, but I'm 4 miles away from work, so the trade off was worth it to me. I love it! And saved $30,000 in the process:) everything is pretty much the same as the 2019.

I have a 2017 Platinum, brought it brand new, and I still love it.I'm NOT a Ford guy, but after buying this Platinum,I will do it again. The ONLY thing missing is... heated/cooled cup holders, illuminated door sills and power closing tailgate.

I just purchased a new king ranch this week and it has the same problem you just mentioned. Amazing they have not fixed that issue. I had a 2019 RST Silverado and felt the quality in the leather was a bit better in how it was put together. I will admit the leather in the king ranch is softer a bit nicer though.

I love that truck I honestly feel like ford need to fix 3 things to justify the price tag number 1 the touchscreen is horrible quality needs to be like the newer trucks with Apple and play.. please update it it looks like an old tablet...number 2 wireless charging for your phones all the nice truck have it what going on for!!... and number 3 no lane departure warning or crash warning though I’m not sure if it has that but I have not hear anyone mention it... ford please put that on your trucks to justify the price tags hope you’re listening thank you...

I like the Silverado and Tundra better. Mostly due to my past experiences with Fords and Chevys. Because of that experience, I have found that Chevrolet has less issues than Ford. That's just my past experience with both car brands.

@@ivanovpreslav7417 GM is closing factories because they made cars that nobody wants. People are moving away from large sedans and going towards SUVs. Seems funny that you mention this after FORD STOPS MAKING ALL OF ITS SEDANS, thus closing their factories too! I said that my past experiences with both car companies have shaped the way I look at them. I currently have a 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe with 115,000 miles on it, only big issue it has had was a tranny rebuild at 100,000. It is in perfect condition and never has any issues starting. Then we move before that, to the 1990 Ford Aerostar that my grandfather had bought before replacing it with that Tahoe, which he sold to me. Nothing but issues from that Aerostar! Kept it in the best condition. The suspension creaked and squeaked, it burned oil like crazy and had so much body roll that if you looked to your side you would get nauseous. So 9 years later he bought the Tahoe. Let's move to more recent times to a person I know who is a police officer. They used to have an impala. Wasnt in the shop much at all. Then, that person received a 2016 Ford Explorer as their new squad car. Had to be recalled 3 TIMES, and kept getting into the shop for steering issues and engine trouble. Last, when my grandmother was looking for a new SUV, we test drove a used 2016 Edge. The thing rattled like crazy and drove like shit! She bought a Toyota Rav4 instead. Much better choice. I also hear that the new Ford transmission on the 3.5 ecoboob engine has issues with the intercooler after a short period of time. Sad!

If he were reviewing the XL trim then fine but this is a review on the Platinum trim. Also beware that the most common trim high volume Chevy LT now comes standard with a turbo 4 banger engine. The most common trim high volume Ford XLT comes standard with a non turbo natural engine. So keep that in mind when leaving comments on Ford truck videos.

65k for an f150 is outrageous, You can buy a brand new F250 powerstroke for less and it's a heck of a lot more fun to drive, sounds better, drives like a truck, will last longer, and wont depreciate nearly as fast as this thing will.

VentedPaladin for 65k youre looking at a base lariat f250 diesel. Much less options than this platinum f150, rides harsher, more cumbersome to park, and is more expensive to fill up with diesel costing a dollar+ more per gallon (in midwest at least). I agree that 65k is a bit pricey for a halfton but gmc and ram are just as much, so I dont think many people will opt for a similarly priced superduty.

Toyota Tundra,gmc Sierra and Dodge Ram are the best pickup trucks,they are much goodlooking than the f-150.At least these three pickup trucks offer v8 engines and unlike the fake truck f-150 that’s made of aluminium,the Toyota Tundra is much tougher and made up metal I.e high strength steel.
