A short experience from me. I have driven the Ford Fiesta st 1.5 (it's the car of a good friend) for over 1.000km the last 2 weeks and can say that it is a very great car. It feels very powerful/torque (about 300nm) and the pops if you down- and upshift at the right rpm's and the sound overall is so much fun and sounds really great. We drove straight on the autobahn max. 240 km/h and downhill 260 km/h (it's completely stock). But the most impressive part is the performance at the country road, it's soo much fun. I can recommend the car to anyone that looks for a powerful small car with a great look, outstanding performance and a good quality-price ratio.

@@Hells_Gift_MB I have also driven the last generation of the fiesta st (182). The ride quality on the new one is really good, i would say slightly better then the previous generation (the previous st is also a really great car in my opinion). I have also driven the new fiesta st for about 300km straight on the german "autobahn" you can drive it daily and also for longer distances, but you feel that the suspension is on the harder side. Don't unterstand me wrong the car is quite comfortable for a small car, but the whole setting of the car is on the sporty/agile side. I would recommend you to test drive the fiesta st and then you can experience it on yourself, how the car feels for you.

Relatively good exterior/ok interior with black trim, but each to their own I guess. The worst thing about the Polo is the lack of manual gearbox. I would probably go for something like a Peugeot 208 GTi if I was forced to drive a compact hot hatch. Cheap, fun and handles well. The Fiesta is good in many aspects but not the best in class imo.

America is bigger is better. I work in the car industry, in 2018 Ford could not keep trucks and suvs on the lot but go out back it was full of cars that have been sitting for years except the mustang's. That's why a Ford raptor is sold for over 80,000 new almost 100,000 now msrp means nothing and no one is off roading them. If your not towing, putting tools in the bed, or driving dirt roads you should have to buy station wagons,(bearly exists in USA) or mini Van's. If you have a husband, a wife and 2 kids a car is just fine lol. In Europe fuel cost twice as much hence they get the cars and diesel motors we do not. Becouse most people think there safer in the heavy rollover suvs lol that suck fuel. Let's see how they like it now in 2022 that gas is going over 5 bucks a gallon. When this video was made it was around 2 bucks per gallon lol. Bring back the cars yes. Change the public view on the SUV fad and the will come back. I have the standard 18 plate Fiesta which is not too much different from this ST model. It feels really good to drive, looks and feels pristine. The brakes made my stomach turn and the surround sound system is almost as good as that in a Jaguar XKR. If you rev the car with the windows and doors closed, can't hear a sound but once you open the windows you can really hear it so that is a brilliant demonstration on how good the sound insulation is. The touch screen isn't too laggy but it is easy to use and feels great to touch. The model I have is the key less entry and push button start; I love how quick it starts once the button has been pushed. Overall it's a really nice car and for a 3 door hatch back made by Ford, I fear the day when problem begin to appear lol
