You're right. Her vocals are not by to be played with. She stands toe to toe, in terms of her God-given gift, with any of the gospel or basically Black vocal greats ever, and she is in the top 1%. She doesn't even hit the high notes or belts she can most of the time, preferring to ride the waves of the glorious runs and pinpoint pitch and key changes.

*Just a word of advice* I'm not a Christian (nor religious at all) but I love this woman. She may not have the best personality or attitude for some, but I don't love her for her attitude or personality. In fact, I don't even know the lady...I love her gift! Nevertheless, often on her videos many Christians (especially my people) have negative comments...yet they're always here. That tells me one of two things, either... 1. *They secretly love her but use a weird, self-righteous, judgmental, alter-ego to justify being on Kim Burrell videos.* __ or 2. *They simply exist on a negative platform.* Now I used to be one of these people, even my compliments were laced with negativity. Most people live on negative platforms and don't even know it. They find reasons to be negative because it's all they understand. I think this is what it means to check yourself and your bible says examine yourself...same shit. What's the intent behind our words? To hurt? Examine yourself! To confuse? Examine yourself! To hide? Examine yourself! Actions and words let those with eyes and ears know what platform you workin' on. Sweet juice can't come from a lemon.
