Love Grand Design built right RV. Inside layout great for a couple but would love to see a lighter color choice for cabinets and couches! Being an RV, I want as much openness and light spacious feel that I can get.

First off, thank you Clayton for putting this together. Took me a couple of sittings but I made it thru and it was worth it. I have watch rv review videos for the last couple of years and still learned many things from this detailed video. Amazing how you can present for this long and still remain interesting. Have been a big fan of Grand Design and this floorplan for a long time. As you know this floorplan is not unique and I also very much like the Cougar in this model as well. It’s a tough choice as I especially like the In Command platform that they offer as well as the Morryde steps. Also not a fan of the dark only furnishings of the GD. Sorry that they do not give an option to this. Going to get one, and it’s a tough choice.. you are certainly a great advocate for DG and I look forward to more of your reviews..

I looked at one of these this past weekend. It appeared to me, there was some kind of extra support built into the wall. There was no bracket on the outside of the wall.

Bob Goodell, great to hear from you again!! GD laminates a sheet of steel into the side wall of the trailer so you can securely mount a TV bracket to hang a TV. Wherever you see a sticker that reads “TV mount location” there will be backing to mount to. We hope this helps!! Take care and talk soon!!😀

@@254tom Be sure to use a magnet to ID the exact position of the steel plate. GD tends to put on a blindfold when putting the location sticker on the wall.

Why doesn't GD use the Whisper Quiet AC system? Those really are much quieter than what is currently installed.

Chuck Potter, you are right the Whisper quiet is just that. From GD’s perspective, through extensive testing, found the whisper quiet A/C systems to be substantially less efficient, while putting a massive draw on the electrical system for longer periods of time. GD uses their exclusive “Stealth A/C system which includes the “Coleman Mach” A/C compressors and racetrack ducting with Air baffles to divert cool air down into the cabin of the RV. The “Stealth” A/C system is arguably the most efficient system on the market. The beautiful part is that your A/C units cycle on and off far less which makes the trailer quieter overall. This is also achieved part and parcel because of the industry leading R-values GD builds into all their products. We hope this helps!!😀
