Maru seems to sometimes play to the level of his opponent. We saw it last season in his group where he honestly player very mediocre until he fought InNo, then they both played really well. After being the best for a year, some of these matches may just get kinda... boring?

Oh god ... You need everything to be spelled out? Obvious Maru threw the 1st game so that he would get the lower bracket draw in the ro8. And the same goes to those who said Maru played badly in the GSL vs World. Same opponent but this time he crushed him. Doesn't take a genius to figure out why? It's not the 1st time we have seen this happen.

Thank God Maru is using ghosts with the new EMP radius properly, which is to say a fuckton. These games clearly show that if Terran takes mass psi storm off the table with EMP, the Protoss will crumble more often not. And it's not because Protoss doesn't have other answers but because Toss players have gotten so used to relying on mass storm. It's a huge crutch. Removing shields from some enemy units is just a bonus. Trying to fight a Protoss deathball head to head without EMP is a fool's errand. Watching Maru destroy Stats here was beautiful.

Protoss does not win a fight vs marines with stim/medivac without the terran clumping marines and getting hit by splash damage. Collossi & Disruptor splash doesn't hit air so Protoss NEED storm vs Bio ball/Viking (Vikings would deny collossi splash otherwise as stalkers can't kill the vikings fast enough without storm) Disruptor shots are avoidable. Stimmed Marine has more DPS than a stalker even though it costs way less, less supply and can fit more shooting per area. Protoss wouldn't use storm so much if Terran didn't just spam marine/Marauder and clump it while running into range of protoss army. Just look at PvP and how often Storm is used. Its not that storm is strong, its that Terran make that many marines and clump them that much and eat AOE that much vs protoss because protoss don't have a hard counter to marines that counter as hard as Tanks, fungal, banes to force transition. BC, Ghost, Lib don't really care about storm either. EMP is not a healthy thing for a strategy game since its good vs everything Protoss have. Terran already just spam things the protoss race don't have hard counters against. There should be more meaningful decisions required for Terran rather than more generically always useful strength (MULES, Marines, Maraud, Medivac, Ghost). Good luck spamming as many marines and running into tanks.

I had wrote a comment to which I've deleted because I now feel I was a little harsh. The gist of the comment was this. Tasteless. Love you, your fun and entertaining, always get a laugh. I prefer to listen to you and Artosis over anybody I think. My problem is, I think its about time that funny just shouldn't be enough....I feel like your overall knowledge of SC2 is lacking and I would prefer if you would stop pretending and just become more knowledgeable. It looks like casting games of geniuses like this is hard for anyone who's not a top pro. Maru does something new to sc2 almost every game. Even Artosis seemed confused and lost many times today.

I disagree it's cool you feel that way but when I'm having a beer and relaxing watching sc2 it's pretty great to have someone who isnt trying to "breakdown" every single move the player makes. It's fun watching these games and I love the casting style, they bring so much as a duo why would you want to change the best caster duo of all time. Idk man couldnt disagree more.

I prefer entertainment with my casts. My favorite were incontrol/nate in challenger from a year or two ago and tastetosis. I even bought two BlizzCon warpacks on two account because of them. We lost incontrol way too soon. RIP bro. Thanks for bringing me into starcraft 2.

dear Chris.. there is a pro caster "noregret" but his predictions of the game are even worse than those two.. and there is no one who can tell the strategy of those top top players. getting names wrongly, are you kidding me? try to cast 5 hours so Chris please stop pretending that you are smart... bucause you are so f.... stupid.
