I'm loving my 2018 Civic Sport hatchback it's been very economical the I've gotten in the high 30's mpg and it's very zippy it does have alittle bit more power than the base Civic with the 1.5 turbo I've beaten a Ford Explorer limited, Dodge Challenger v6 and a few more but it's an overall good package.

Hi, I got a 2020 civic sedan sport, pretty much the same car your testing except mine has sunroof and lane watch and I love it, its no type R but it also ain't got a type R price tag,and once you get used to the cvt its actually pretty good,very reliable, fun to drive, I think its the best compact 4cyl car for the price, thanks for the video bro ✌

Always love the ride of a Honda... in the early 1980’s i use to drive my old boss’s Honda Accord, was about a 1983 model.. smooth ride and basic controls..

I own this car built 9-2020 6 Speed manual it's even MORE fun the more you Daily Drive my wife and I have to flip a coin to drive because we all want to Drive this car 👍🤓💯

There is one forgotten point with the 10th gen Civic: this is the last time that you will see an economy coupe. As of now, all other coupes are either sports cars or luxury "look at me" cars.

I own this car in a 6speed manual, for me it's plenty fast because already have to wait on MOST other cars to get going and I wouldn't want to loose the 36 Average Mpg it's getting for us, In other words love this ride🤓💯

I drive a 2015 Civic, with 50k on it, so far it’s been a great commuter car. I had only 1 issue but that’s been resolved. Average mpg 30-31 in the city.

Just bought the 2020 Civic Sport - same blue colour as in your review. Had it for a week now and I already love it. It's a fun, comfortable drive and mine has the sunroof. It's only been a week but at this moment I can't find anything negative to say about it. Definitely an above average buy. 👍🌈

That is strange for a dealership to reject a Civic test drive. But I experienced that myself when I was rejected to test drive the base trim Charger. I would trade in my Forte for Civic Touring Hatchback.

Yea they're stupid Dodge dealers suck really bad too. I really like the Forte but this is a superior car but again, Forte costs less than the Civic and comes with a great warranty

I've had that experience with Honda myself, as has my niece, and bringing it up... a surprising number of people have. Honda, get off your high-horse. My dad bought a brand new 2006 Corolla S instead of the then-new Fit and Civic because of that attitude, and my niece bought a 2022 Mazda3 for the same reason.

I can attest to the seat upholstery being cheap looking and feeling, but I can also say it really holds up well. Even my dog didn’t destroy the fabric!

Thats good to hear! I absolutely loved the comfort of these seats really excellent and as long as they hold up idc unlike leather it won't get ridiculously hot or cold so its always comfortable great car

The LX Trim with the stick is the best option by far. Not only is it cheap, but it still has VTEC and 2 liters. It comes with steelies but car guys are just going to change out the wheels anyways. Win win

It’s available with a manual transmission. My 2020 Civic Sport Sedan has the 2.0 naturally aspirated engine and manual transmission 👍🏻

I've never really been a fan of the styling on this gen Civic, but hearing the positive review of the driving feel, I would have to give it a chance. Have you tried pulling up to the Honda dealers with your new LC? :)

I have that exact make and model. In red / black though. You really should have used the paddles. There is IMMEDIATE reaction. No delay like some other makes. And talk about fun to drive!

You need to clarify on the Mazda comparison....they were multi link rear until 2019-20 so there is overlap between them.

Very thorough review as always however, l don't think you mentioned the styling? Personally, still not warming to the look of this version. Would buy the Mazda 3 on that factor alone, which is a shame as you say the Civic is a great car.

No I did not mention styling as that's a subjective topic I personally dont mind it but the public has eyes so I try not to waste much time on looks since I have limited time with dealer cars. Oh yea Mazda 3 is still amazing might actually be the better package and as you say, looks very nice and sophisticated probably the best lookinh compact aside from the Kia Forte

Do you know if they improve the interior materials in the higher trims or if its becuz there was a small redesign since 2017? I checked out a 2017 honda civic ex-L but the interior just felt like a 2012 civic LX. At least in socal its hard to keep the plastic, cloth, and foam from deteriorating

Yea interior is not the best but not bad at all for a compact at least the build quality is high. If you want a nice interior I would go Mazda 3
