Lol you have to adjust the stretch. You have to pull it back with the supplied wrench.

Since the stretch bars are upside down and on the wrong sides, the axle is at the bottom instead of the top. Chain should work without the drop mount if the bars were swapped and axle was at the top.
@osomxl4 жыл бұрын
Part of the reason you are having problems with the chain angle appears to be the upside down install of the extensions in the last video. I can’t tell if the adjusters can be swapped side to side but they are below the centerline of the swing arm and tightening them further pushes them down, away from the swing arm centerline. This also may cause interference with the rear brake caliper, where it will hit the swing arm. Try rotating the adjusters so they sit above the swing arm centerline instead of below.

osomxl could be. I know very little about bikes. My first build here. When I lowered it in another video it seemed to correct the issue though.

Hi, can you share with me where can I get those fatty wheels set like your? I try search but fail to get 1. Really appreciate if anyone could help me. Thanks
@hypeknocksville5 жыл бұрын
There’s a piece or derlin that usually sits on top of the swing arm to protect the rubbing. Once you starting moving your chain will tighten up homie. And your missing a bolt in your rear hugger

Hey so what was the reason you flipped the front sprocket? I know you said to line the chain up. But was there something you did differently than the ruck shop did on their demo video? There was no mention of the front sprocket mod. Thanks!
@Steve_MP54 жыл бұрын
vtecdpn100 unless they changed their video, I’m pretty positive it’s in there because that’s where I saw it, I think hahaha. If you don’t flip the front sprocket and put the bracket on the other side it sets too far in. With the wider tire the rear sprocket pokes out farther. They need to be in-line. If you go with a 12x7 fatty, they give you a whole new mounting bracket to push it out even further. 12x6 is less involved and less expensive. Partly why I did it. If I did it again I’d do a 12x7.

That little bit won’t matter with such a long chain, got a flipped XR650R sprocket on my XR650L, it does fine with a slight misalignment.

James Parks no. If you watch the stretch video all you do is loosen the existing one and turn it. You have plenty of slack for a 6inch stretch

You can run 12x7 on a grom you just need the spacer kit for alignment on the sprocket most kits come with.
