I'm looking into upgrading from my Vulcan 900 Classic LT to an Indian Classic, but going tro seriously look at the Bobber as well. Videos like yours helps in researching what I'll be test rideing and ultimately choosing to ride. I'm 74 years old and been riding for a long, long time and I loved whagtever I had in my stable, however now I'm looking for a bike that will be the one I'll keep until I decide to hang up my chaps. Your bike definitely.has the estethics and I can tell you've been smitten, just as I will soon be. Thank you for youer honest review video. Bear

I put a set of supershox on my bobber that were for the regular scout, it raised the rear up about 3/4" which made the ride much more tolerable and made the front a bit 'lighter' to flick around. Anyone getting a bobber that isn't used to scrapping pegs... find a roundabout in a low traffic area and scrape the shit out of your pegs over and over until it doesn't freak you out, it should be a very early warning to let you know how far you are leaning, not an "oh shit I have to stand the bike up" feeling... there's plenty of lean left after the pegs touch so don't be afraid to use it if you need it.

Great review! You’re spot on about the seat. Been riding the new Sixty Bobber for a little over a month now and I had to go with the Indian comfort seat and it made a world of difference. Also added the 2 into one Scout exhaust with the performance intake. Added close to 10% in HP or at least that’s what they advertise. Can definitely feel it. Question for you, how’s the view with the bar end down mirrors? Love the look with the even lower profile but I don’t want them if it hurts my view. Thanks again for the great view.

What are your concerns about going to Indian for service? I live in Round Rock, TX where there used to be a dealer who sold new Indians, but they have since stopped selling new ones and moved to Austin. @motosportadv81774 жыл бұрын
dadwithabike yeah I’m thinking 🤔 about upgrading my shocks as well , theses shocks are budget shocks , I’m thinking about getting Ktech lite or Ktech Bulits , did you upgrade your shocks ? If so what did you put on your Scout bobber?

I did upgrade and I went with the Progressive 444s. I wanted the Bullits from Ktech but no one had them. I did some research on the 444s and chose them - couldn't be happier.

is this a good first bike?
@dadwithabike4 жыл бұрын
It can be. It's ride height is small, easy to maneuver but if this is a first bike it will get dropped. The bike is a bit costly and dropping it would make me cry. Personally, I'd buy something else - used and I didn't mind dropping until I was able to truly handle a bike.
