2019 International Overview

Check out our new 2019 International. Every make and year has a different layout.
This truck has a 72" sleeper cab. I gotta say it's a little tight for 2 people.
It's got A26 International motor and a 10 speed automatic transmission. Still forming our opinion)....
Its has a descent amount of storage. this is where you feel the affects of a smaller sleeper cab.
Hopefully this will be helpful to anyone that will be getting this truck. let us k ow if you have any questions.

We had a truck with the open bottom under the bed and we called it the basement bedroom. Our pups kennel, food dishes and toys were all tucked away. I miss that spot

Good luck with the new Inter, I drove KW's Coast to Coast express here in Australia, clocked up 2.6 million kms, burnt myself out, had to give it away. No auto transmission in my day, but the trucks used to haul ass, before all the crazy regulations came in. Love you vlogs..

No problem. I feel for you guys. I toured a Prostar Eagle the other day, it seemed small for a 73 inch bunk. International did not do a good job of utilizing space like your Volvo VNL 780. Or a Pete. 579 Ultraloft. Probably why resale value is so low and pre-owned 2014 -2016 Prostars come with a 2 yr. warranty + 2yr. PM coverage. Good news is, It's a new brand new truck, you guys are a husband and wife team, and your only trucking through the Christmas rush. Keep the wiggle wagon straight and God Bless!

You are right! International did not utilize all of their space like Volvo did. I've seemed to make most of it work this far! I dont see this truck holding up long term. Like you said it's just a short season for us. Doing our best to keep that wiggling under control. Florida's I4 makes it a little hard with the crazy construction

Mine is a 2018 LT, love mine, especially the smart start function, it gets great fuel mileage and it has a ton of storage, mine is a single bunk, so twice as many cabinets.

We ran into soooo many problems after 2 Ears we refused to drive another international. In one week we had to be towed 3 times! Just one thing after another. Boss man just got us a 2023 Volvo

@@SimpleLivin I have a 2019 international lt myself. I love this truck. Mine is pretty much setup like yours. Only difference is behind the passenger seat there's nothing so that we can put fridge in here. I got auto stop and start. Also a button where it has auto climate control. Where truck start cool it down then shut off. Don't know what lane you run. But you might see me when I go home in Georgia off of i95. Hope the truck is treating ya'll good. Glad you enjoy your truck and have had no problems... a different motor makes a big difference! We have had nothing but trouble we have had the fuel pump replaced 3x 🤔😒 thanks for sharing about your truck. We travel mostly the middle lane in GA on I-95 . Be safe and many Blessings

The a26 suppose be better than the max force engine but then again. Any thing is better than the max force. But I was told by international that the a26 suppose be better. Hope ya'll get the fuel filter solved instead of changing out all time.

Oh forgot. Keep a eye on the air fitting behind the air compressor next the engine on the drive side. It will start to leak after a while most international do this for some reason. It's a grey hose runs along the frame up to the back of air compressor near the steering unit.

We just got the international about 4 weeks ago. Like it better than my freightliner in several ways but it is a bit smaller in the sleeper birth but plenty of storage.

Same, feels like im constantly correcting steering imputs. Also feels like it moves more in wind gust. Who's hit there head on the storage over the bed yet ? Lol. We've had ours for 6 weeks now and the wife absolutely hates everything about it.

Yes yes. It totally sucks in the wind! Scott has busted his head twice now! I busted my booty on the dang bunk step while trying to squat down to get in the fridge! Ouch! Lol

your Volvo VNL780 had a 77 inch sleeper ( the largest sleeper available ) not 84 inch.

Now I can't even get in or out of my driver's side because it won't open. I tried locking and unlocking it but the handle just pulls but won't open at all. Smh. I've only had this truck for a month.

Prostar & LT is 73 inch Highrise or 73 inch Skyrise Sleeper. 9000 series was 72 Inch Sleeper the Prostar & LT is 73 inch sleeper not 72 inch.

Would be nice if they put a pull out table on sleeper cabs. Nothing on 2015, 2016, 2018 issued to JB Hunts. You eat on your lap and food drops on the chair in between your thighs. Would like a space for commonly used things like gloves, thumper, and flash light by the fire extinguisher side. My gloves keep dropping out and missing. The driverside door compartments are useless to place paperwork for hazmats. A keyless entry on those small side doors, A MORE VISIBLE SIGNAL LIGTHS ON THE SIDES, a redesigned dashboard indicator lights. I cant see if Im on high beam, or in cruise control. The mirrors are often vibrating and dissapointing. The seat adjuster lever under your right thigh is a nono. The placement of the switches I suggest should be redesigned. The emrgency or fourway switch is too far and i happen to press the SUSP/DUMP on the 2018. On the 2019 I might turn the lights ON trying to push the emergency button. On the 2019 its still far out. The seldom used switches like the Diferential Lock, Traction control, etc... are rarely used and therefore not necessary to be near the drivers reach. When rainy, my gloves and the spares gets wet. If only theres a space to warm up the gloves or shoes like a dry space under the footsteps or near the battery area. If INTERNATIONAL accepts criticism from drivers, their trucks might turn out to be best among trucks. Hopefully they will let a trucker be part of R&D team

Caca... My company started buying some of these Internationals to save money. I'm really hoping to not be assigned one in a couple of years when I'm due, next. I'd probably leave the company. Was chatting w/the shop foreman of an area dealership. After working on a couple of them, he concurred. They're caca. Poor quality = throw-away trucks. There are very good reasons why International got hit w/that yuge class action suit. Good Luck w/your new truck. You're gonna need it.

@@SimpleLivin I’m think to buy brand new international LT with new engine S13 and new transmission T14 ( that’s actually scania powertrain something similar like Volvo) I know scania make one of best engines and transmissions but I’m worry about other stuff beside of engine and transmission, there is many stuff around that could go wrong, international quality is just to crappy

I’m my opinion that is one of best engines and really good transmission, but I’m worry about other stuff on truck that are made by international. it will also use new scania after treatment system with no EGR, and engine will use simple turbo and not Variable-geometry turbo.

Looks the same as the previous models just different hood Freightliner changed the hoof and layout of the sleeper as well as dash and steering wheel components

All the International trucks have the exact same sleeper. Even the LoneStar. I think it is ridiculous and should have a larger more quality sleeper for their Flagship truck!!

Simple Livin keep on trucking. My father had a bad accident with a fed ex ground truck. He worked for abf and his duels came off his double trailers and landed in the road. A wrecker was parked directing traffic to the fast lane but this fed ex truck didn’t move and hit them and flipped and came screeching down the road and killed a yellow truck driver that stopped to help my dad get the duels off the road. Truckers are some of the most kindest people and will put their life on the line to help other people.

IMO, worst truck out now, seats have slop in the track, so it feels like a kid kicking you're seat all day long , hood mirrors are to low and light from headlights make them useless at night, cutouts for fuel tank aren't big enough so fuel hose falls out at any time. Black out curtains up front are useless, to short, same for bunk curtain.

We have 10 RH models with the A26 475 hp engine. Biggest piece of shit on the road. No Torque at all . Also you'll get about 5 mpg, Really sad. Total Junk!
