I like my 17 KX450 with 18 FX graphics, superflow air filter and a set of HotCams stage 2 camshafts which I believe gives it better power increase then an aftermarket exhaust system and faster then a 21 model. And thanks Rocky Mountain ATV for all your good videos. If I had enough money I would get a 21 KX450.

Thanks Chase I've got a question I was thinking about getting the Tusk foot pegs for my 18 kx250f are they wider and are they longer and can I get just the attack graphics for the frame only or do you have to get the whole kit

*Rob W* Our Tusk Foot Pegs are going to be wider and sharper than your OEM pegs. Yes, the Attack Graphics Frame tape is available separately. Here's the link to our bike build: www.rockymountainatvmc.com/Sales/2508/Bike-Build-2019-Kawasaki-KX450

Would it change the characteristics of the bike beside sound if you took the end cap off shortened the muffler and put it back on?
@rmatvmc5 жыл бұрын
I'm sure it would make it louder but I'm not sure about characteristics. I know it's big, but there is still lot of R&D that goes into that muffler to get it how they want it. If it's that bad, you can buy a slip on from FMF, Pro circuit or Yoshimura. They're all much smaller.

Check out something like the Bolt KX/KXF Pro Pack Kit, that you can find here: www.rockymountainatvmc.com/parts/bolt-kx-kxf-pro-pack-kit-p?v=15857 but depending on which bolt you're referring to it may be safer to go to the OEM schematic and get the specific one you need from there. The OEM schematics can be found here: www.rockymountainatvmc.com/oem-parts Hope that helps!

Awesome bike and track looks amazing! Looks like a lot of fun! I’ve been seeing 19 KX450s for $7,000-7,500 MSRP which seems like a steal for this sleeper 450. Just like you said it won some shootouts. Might have to cop one. Was thinking YZ250 to get back into riding but just might actually save money getting a 450 over the 2 stroke lol go figure 😂

Thank you for your reply but are the Tusk footpegs longer as well as being wider
@chasetherippa6 жыл бұрын
Rob W about the same length. I have them.
@Zackrey507mx4 жыл бұрын
I had them on my 2016 250f and prefer stock foot pegs over aftermarket, they always get hung up on everything and mud gets packed underneath them, preventing them from folding back down. Not a problem I have with the stock foot pegs. I do say the tusk look good but seem chincy/cheap

@@rmatvmc thanks very much! i'm actually gonna go with the works connection skid plate, and a bunch of other stuff that you guys have for it. Is that a race tech shock spring that you got? i'm about 165 so i definitely want to go with the softer spring, can you tell me what spring you went with? i'm also gonna send my forks to mx1 on your recommendation. thankyou!!!
@rmatvmc6 жыл бұрын
@@dougunderground82 My man, it's actually just an OEM spring that we used. Part number is 92145-1746-10. The spring rate is a 5.3 instead of the 5.5 than comes stock. That awesome to hear you're sending it to MX1. You won't be disappointing. It's already good stock and will only get better. Should I get the rekluse clutch or Hinson?
@rmatvmc6 жыл бұрын
Man, that is a tough question. Are you wanting a full kit? i.e. clutch basket, inner hub, pressure plate. This torque drive clutch pack i'm running is really nice because you get the added performance of Rekluse's friction plates and the steel sleeves prevent any notching on your OEM clutch basket. Much less expensive route to get some added performance and longevity. Both make awesome products and you couldn't go wrong with either one.-Chase
