2019 Lexus NX 300: Watch Out BMW and Audi!!!

I went from my 2014 Lexus ES 350 to a 2020 NX 300 with the luxury and other packages. A bit of getting used to because the two vehicles are so different. I’m enjoying it, and hopefully I’ll be able to figure out more of the technology features. My only regret is the paucity of storage in the back. When I got the car and put things in it I realized that I should have considered the RX 350 in order to have more cargo space. But that’s the only drawback as far as I’m concerned. On the other side of that coin is the fact that this is a small SUV/crossover and so you get shorter length and easier parking and maneuvering.

I have to say, this is a very accurate review. I was given this car as loaner ,and i have to say its everything he has mentioned. Was surprised about the handling of the ride and its acceleration. Great suv. I don't like the grill on the Nx though.

Nice review. Lexus provides a spare tire not a fix flat kit. I purchased a 2021 NX300. Best investment ever.

Not a fan of the front end of that model, next to the F Sport version it just looks like something is missing off the front. PS, if you'd gotten the cargo floor up a bit higher you'd see it has a full size spare, not a fix-a-flat system as you said.

Ben, I dont know if that's a good title 😀. I have driven the NX, it is not something that threatens BMW x1,x3, or Audi Q3,Q5. The Nx looked nice but not that nice, it was slow, handling was slightly sloppy, esp compared to any German competition. Infotainment is better as well in both german cars. Soooo, sorry, I have to disagree with your title. The NX is a luxurious Rav4 yes, but doesnt challenge BMW or Audi.

I agree. I currently have the 2017 NX F-Sport AWD black/black and while it is a very fun car to drive, it is not even in the same class of the Q5 or X3. We are getting rid of ours for the new 2019 BMW X 5 M-Sport and we are very excited. We started looking at the RX, but was not a fan.

yeah you are right, but lexus is waaaaay more reliable brand than Bmw, Audi, Mercedes. arguably No 1 brand in the world in reliability .

I've owned the BMW, and now own a 2019 NX 300 F Sport. Sorry, but the NX is a MUCH better SUV. The depreciation rate on the BMW is RIDICULOUS. They DO NOT hold their value. The Lexus DOES hold it's value, and rates #1 in quality, and has for many years.

@@mcypress5333 Ok but in technology Lexus is at least 5 years behind. Did your nx pulls to the right when you start driving. They all have strong torque pull to the right.
