Rudy..I hit the jackpot today. ..yesterday I went to Sams all alone and scored a red Ford GT. I could not find any other cars I wanted. The display looked picked over. But today I had my trusty assistant, my lovely wife, and I scored a Ferrari FXXX(yellow) , Ferrari California T(yellow) & a Lambo Performante (green). My wife has the patience to search for those cars..I'm happy about that!..

Very cool! Thanks for sharing your latest finds! I collect Star Wars figures in 1/18 scale and still have about 12 die cast cars. One figure costs at least $12.99 by now and seeing these model cars for $14.98 makes me think about the actual value. Both hobbies take up much space. You got some nice models there! Police cars are always a win and those super cars just look fantastic! Congrats! I hope you found even more of the good stuff! Those Maisto cars cost about 30€ and Star Wars figures 16€ here in Germany...

These prices are for a few months a year only, otherwise is hard to find these for less than $30. I believe 30€ is about $33, so that's not a bad price for you in Germany. I also have a small Star Wars collection from years ago in storage, like you said takes up alot of room.

I have a meaningful collection of small Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars that I've been buying here and there..mostly at Walmart. My question is ..is it a smart idea to take the die cast car out of its packaging or should I keep it packaged the way I bought it. All opinions respected.

It all depends on the kind of collector you are. If you like to appreciate and enjoy the cars than you open them. But if you want to make money and sell them, keep them in the package and make sure the packaging is I. Perfect condition. It makes a big difference.

Great picks and price wish it could go that low for a while here in europe to get some Muscle cars from Maisto. That F150 SVT Lightning is from other brand called Burago and it had a version with 2 water sky on the bed on that brand dropped for the Maisto version. Samething with that C1 corvette Burago as well, don't now why the holding group for both of them made the choice and not allowing Burago to have more American Muscle cars here in europe.

How good is the quality of these cars?

Pretty good, not as good as higher end models like Autoart, Minichamps or others but for the price they're good. One bad thing about these models is that that the opening parts don't open wide enough, is sometimes hard to appreciate the enteriors because you can't really see inside.

My Sam's Club finally had a couple of Huracan Performante's. They moved the display box that was hidden behind the one they had out in July and put both of them next to each other, so now all of the cars are accessible. I'm surprised to see all of the F150's at your Sam's..... Mine only had one!

Yeah, these are 1:18 scale, never seen this size at Walgreens. I believe the Walgreens are 1:24 scale.

I found the red FXX K, that is the hit. Yellow is cool too, I will buy it if I find but no big deal if I don't. These go for $80-$100 each at the auto show. good price at costco.

@@wudini007 Yep :D I was looking for the yellow one because I saw it in videos on youtube, was blown away when I saw it in red. Red is always best on a Ferrari but I'm not going to knock that yellow one since it was what I was originally looking for. A year or two ago, the big deal was the LaFerrari in white but I found a better price on it (ebay-wise anyway, not counting Costco's diecast price, just comparing ebay prices) and in Mattel Hot Wheels which is better quality than Maisto. So I bought one white LaFerrari from Mattel and one red one. Those are damned nice and I bet they cost over $100 at the SF international auto show. I'm going to check out the diecast there this year and smile when I see those Maisto @ $100 and knowing I already have them at home at $14.95 each :D Thanks for your video

Rudy Arenas Got GT in Gulf blue, Performante red and green, Chiron sport red with black and FXX K in yellow. Many of last year's models are out again this year but feel the FXX K is the best model out this year although preferred it to be in black or red as they have these colours with Bburago. Hope all's ok over there with the Hurricane.

I don't know if polishing will help, I think it has more to do with the original paint job and also where you keep them. I keep most of mine indoors in a cool temperature. The bubbling with have to do with the cars being in the heat.
