@Himanshu Chaudhry yeah heard of marazzo but it didn't seem practical for me... Firstly it's costlier than ertiga, we don't get a automatic gear box to choose, it's fuel efficiency is less comparatively and also even for top end model which costs more than 15 lakhs on road you only get abs and ebd, but in ertiga for automatic variants we get active safety features like ABS, EBD, BA, ESP and hill hold control which are always good to have on board.

See @Ankur these are your personal thoughts, yes i agree some vehicles by mahindra were not upto the mark but not all of them. And really would u choose a 5yrs old ertiga over a 5yr old Scorpio, i mean suzuki also had bad days recently due to their quality and safety reasons its just that their pricing and some fake promises about their vehicles which makes the vehicle look affordable and good for value though its not. Yes i agree mahindra in the previous years couldn't get a good foot because of such reasons like quality and stuff that has left them a bit behind in sales but by looking at the new launches of mahindra like the xuv500, marazzo and the Scorpio latest gen, people are really impressed with those products, they are making good use of the Korean brand Ssangyong. Finally I can say that Mahindra will get a equal chance to put a fight to these other auto companies due to the improved and well thought vehicles which they have started selling recently.

No marazzo is far more better then the ertiga. Because of its build quality space driving dynamics behaves well in triple digit speed very stable and powerful then the ertiga also bigger wheels more feature looks good better ride quality then the ertiga. I driven the marazzo almost 1000kms non stop. One or two stops we take to get fuelled up ourselves and the machine and nature call stop that it very comfy driver seat and the passenger seat. No body ache whatsoever.

I don’t understand why dont you tell us about the build quality. This is build on the heartech platform which was used in the swift and baleno and when it was crash tested then the chassis was called unstable. Why didn’t you mention that information and also why dont you tell us about the quality of the sheet metal. I dont know how this car will score good because all of the heartech platform cars scored poor.Overall your review was good but there are other things in a car apart from gizmos and features🙂

Subhranil Gupta okay coming to mahindra..go to team bhp and see a xuv 500 tread wjere airbags have not been deployed..and yes you’re right i20’s chassis was unstable but it scored one star more than the swift because according to ncap the sheet metal was thicker and the chassis though being unstable was still stiffer than maruti swift’s. Vitara brezza is not build on the heartech platform brother.

The motor beam channel has improved alot in the way of taking videos. While coming to the Ertiga, am completely taken away with the design of it and the features offered. Although the diesel engine is the same, am eagerly waiting for the petrol one to drive😍. Obviously it is better than marazzo and people would prefer buying Ertiga because of the brand value.

Now we have xuv w11. Marazzo is way better the ertiga is every aspect. Marazzo has great quality levels and it is developed at mahindra's north american centre. Marazzo's engine is extreme refined and very silent unlike ertiga's old fiat's underpowerd engine. Ertiga tin can is nothing in front of marazzo

We booked Ertiga with Pratham motors, HSR, Bangalore on 25 Dec, 2018. While booking we were promised and told in extreme confidence that the vehicle will be delivered by 2/3 week of Jan. We told to the sales team and management that how were they promising the delivery date of 3/4 weeks when every one else was saying 8 weeks but the cheats kept on repeating that they will deliver the vehicle by 2/3 week of Jan. Till 10 Jan, Manju (Pratham motors) reaffirmed that they are on track to deliver the vehicle by 2/3 week of Jan. From 11 Jan onwards, The "Thugs of Maruti" stopped picking up my calls and stopped all sorts of communication. I found the contact details of center head Sriram and reached out to him, and he told he will provide the date by 26 Jan. On 26 Jan, Sriram told 15 Feb. After witnessing such unprofessionalism, We visited Pratham motors. To our surprise, their were raging customers present who were fooled by Pratham motors. After betraying us, Pratham motors management (Manju and others) shouted at us and told that we give the dates what customers asks us. Please note the statement again from Manju who as per Sriram is their star sales leader that "Pratham motors promises the delivery dates what customers ask for". We met Sriram where we were given a date of 5 feb, On 5 Feb we were given a date of 7 feb. It's like Tareek par Tareek and none of the dates are ever met. We like many others have been cheated by Pratham motors, HSR, Bangalore. There are major integrity issues present. Please don't book any vehicles with them. I wish time would have returned and i could have booked the vehicle with other franchises. I am still waiting for the vehicle and have no idea when will it be delivered, all communication with Pratham motors result in vain. I wish the scamsters are punished. Vehicle booked on the name of Sudeep Dwivedi on 25 Dec Ertiga VXI

The 2nd generation ertiga is fantastic....good family car....with loads of features.....really liked it.....still quite disappointed with the copying of other cars....(audi ac vents) (volvo break lights) etc....the tyres should've been at least 17" or 18" inches.....15" is quite small for a car of this size.....well reviewed #motorbeam....

MPV market well in hand, maruti should now look for upgrades and new slots for hatchbacks to rival santro and i20 class. The alto series desperately cries for upgraded chasis and bodyshell. With this new ertiga, The 3rd row gimmick is now sensibly usable by indian standards. front, though seems inspired by crysta yet is buyer magnet. same theory hope works for rear too. dashboard could be a little sporty with option for an black beige duo. Now pricing will tell the fate for this new Ertiga. Faisal does justice with the review that is never biased. There are lots of reviews of this Ertiga but faisal seems sticked to his theory of "what is that is" honest review policy. A full thumbs up for his job excellently done as always..
