All those who criticize this car should remember that most Indians are middle class struggling with EMIs, medical expenses, house rents, children's school fee etc etc and everyone can't afford 8 lakh, 10 lakh, 15 lakh cars. Though safety and build quality are bad with this, its the practicality and price that gets it selling

A thoroughly sensible car for thoroughly practical people. Perfect height for people to get in and out. Tons of luggage space. And absolutely well worth it. A sensible car. Forget the flash. Go for the practicality. For two people and tons of luggage there is hardly a better bet!

One of the best cars since its launch in 1999. Till date one of best selling cars. Although not in features at par with hyundai santro or i10, it's still a tall boy and grown in width wise too. Am having a 2011 model, blue eyed boy. I love the car and driving also is really nice. It's truly a middle man's car and at an affordable rate. When ever they say new wagon r or facelift I wait for the deisel version.

Nice practical car. With lot more features. It's instrument cluster is just awesome. Yes the crash test is really matter for Maruti's car. As it is a product from Maruti Suzuki Arena , it should be low maintained , better fuel economy , and a comfortable car. I think the heritage of Wagon R remain same with this new product. Just waiting for crash test. Hope Maruti done well. 👍👍👍

Go for 1.2 Manual Petrol Top End. You will not be disappointed. Peppy one, Tall boy design, spacious cabin, good features which includes touch screen infotainment system and more. Also has dual Airbag, Abs, EBD as standard.

Maruti wins the race as they set the product in a right price bracket. For the price Great product. It has maintained its practical terms for which it is well known. Perfect car for first time buyers. Great service network and low maintenance is plus for Maruti buyers.

In India where buying a car is still an aspirational value than practical. These cars will sell and maruti is doing the right business. Moreover just because a car is lighter does not means it is unsafe. I think when more people will drive in expressway and Indian roads will be potholes free more demand for safety cars will come up and hope maruti build some of the safest one.
