While every other manufacturer bumps up power and torque figures, MSIL decides to go down. All in the name of fuel economy. K12 dualjet engine was already a sweet one, if not the most powerful. Also, it delivered good fuel economy numbers. Why to push the limits of mileage by bringing down cylinder numbers..? 3 cylinders are not the best ones for refinement and engine balance. And if 3 cylinders is to be the route then why not the existing 3 cylinder turbo mill from Fronx..? That's a good one for Swift which ironically is not that SWIFT 😂

They should have atleast offered their brilliant turbo engine as an option. 3 cylinder without turbo or hybrid is a major put off for ppl who love to drive.

I will accept the removal of 1 cylinder and reducing the HP and Torque ONLY ONE CONDITION and that is if this Swift scores really great(atleast a 4/5) in GNCAP. Because the engine was the only good thing about this car

no sunroof option, no armrest, looks same, lesser power, more vibration most likely, no cupholder aka arm rest for rear
