Great review guys, btw i drove the same headlight unit (Multi-beam LED) in the Mercedes E-class in Europe as a rental car. It actually blew my mind how good these headlights were, i drove with high beams on all the time and the adaptive function worked very well, unlike many other cars. In fact after that, i got in my private car and i felt like the headlights in my car were broken because they were so bad in comparison with the Multi-beam LED'S .

I have been in love with the G-wagon sense childhood. It´s like a ship to drive, you more steer and cling on for dear life than you are in control (old model) the armoured one is a TANK! I JUST LOVE IT!! One day I will own a G63 AMG.

Probably the only proper high end and credible SUV that doesn't get people annoyed or even jealous about their owners. The interior really is a huge step-up from previous G-Wagens with MB's outstanding infotainment screen and fantastic looking dashboard. Believe the Mercedes Benz G-Wagen version is probably better to own than the sportier/more expensive AMG G63. Top review guys!

Out of all the Mercedes models,this one depreciates the least. It's the most expensive SUV in their lineup, but the amenities are not more than other models half its price. It's the absolute least aerodynamic vehicle, but the base model is very fast. It's an off road capable vehicle, but it suspension is comfortable. Its been around for 40ish years, it's only had 2 generations, but the looks still hold up today. This car defies logic, which is why it's my only dream car. I'd love to take my moms 05, but it's been rotting at their house and the cost for a day a driving is like a week of commuting in my Honda. I'd be wrenching on it for years.

the best change is the new electromechanical steering.. a HUGE improvement over previous G wagons. The Bull bar is standard for USA.. car shown doesnt have it.. updated voice control is good. The lights and door sills have the "G" moniker and the "Mount Shockel" badge is cool (like trail rated for jeep). That trim is "metal weave".. carbon fiber is ZG6 and $3700 US for G550, on the G63 you can also add carbon fiber steering wheel w/alcantara (dinamica). BTW its $124500 base.. plus $995 destination for USA.. $147500 plus dest for the G63 AMG.. US..
