I was given a free upgrade to this SUV by a local rental car place and I absolutely love it! There's really too many bells and whistles to mention, but one of my favorites is the NASA inspired, zero gravity seats & the monitors for blind spot alerts on each of the rear view mirrors. I'm more of a sports car person, but this one has won me over. I've always been a Nissan fan anyway.

Don’t forget the master air flow sensor defect in all 2017-2019 models, my 2017 a lemon replaced with 2019 cost 900 to fix the air flow sensor

@@carsunlocked Thanks for your response!! Actually I ended up buying 2019 Rogue SL with 46k mileage for $30k (excluding taxes etc), it had no accidents and no speeding tickets. It's a certified pre-owned car from Nissan. Got warranty for 7 years/100k miles, Not sure if this is a good deal but I bought it last week.

These comments about CVT have me worried... I can actually get this exact SV 2019 AWD model for $19,900 with only 4,000 miles. Sounds like a great deal, being that MSRP is $27,690. Am I correct? Has anyone had a good experience with CVT? Or should I just avoid it at all cost?

Thanks for the comments. That seems like a phenomenal deal to me my friend. Nissan was one of the first movers with the CVT starting in 2008, they did have a lot of problems at first which I think is the cause of all these comments however ten years later Nissan has worked out the kinks so i think you will be fine

I have a 2016 Nissan Sentra with 62,000 miles on it. Took it to the dealership today because the CVT transmission was giving me trouble... they took it on a test drive and suddenly the car “broke down”. Trust me stay far away from Nissans.

I have one. Had to have a new transmission put in at 20,000 miles. Those CVTs suck ass would never buy this again and advise anyone else from doing so.

Paolo Pineda yep. I had 20000 miles when I brought it in. The mechanic didn’t even get it out of the driveway before he told me I needed a new transmission. I’d say it probably started around 15,000 miles but I didn’t know what it was so it took me a while to bring it in.

As soon as I brought it in and the mechanic drove it, not even ten feet, he could tell what the problem was. I probably drove it for a good 5,000 miles before I brought it in and had it looked at.

We have the 17 Rogue SV AWD. Zero issues.. including the CVT. Awesome fuel mileage and extremely comfortable to drive. Before that we had the 2015 Altima.. put 180,000 on it. Again zero issues. Buy with confidence, Nissan makes good vehicles.

Be positive and say you want it and some day you'll have it. I have a black 2013 JUKE God I love it. Wouldn't trade it for nothing in the world. Yet like you I am wanting a Rouge so bad. Want it black also. He did not mention it. I believe it has the feature that when you drive. It stops before you hit another car. In other words avoids accidents. Awesome feature. Good luck

I've got a 2018 SL red with all the options. Very good on fuel. Trunk is very flexible. The seats are confortables for long trips. A lot of electronic.Radar cruise control is great. Everything work fine except the main screen who goes down after 3 hours in a row on long trips. Reset himself. You just have to wait. The Rogue is under power and the CVT is crap.. Just for that I won't keep it. Luckily i've rent it.

Thw murano is a mid- sized suv and only weighs 500lbs with doublenthe hp. So thenroguengives you wn extra row with already a sluggishnpowertrain that seems to be an ynfair burden to place in that underpowered vehicle. So the inlynadvantagenover thenmurano makes it more sluggish ifnused.

I'm unhappy owner 2018 Nissan Rogue SV FWD. When car idling my back and ass feel vibration( middle level ). Dealer told its OK. Ugly noise is during acceleration ( that's CVT! ). " Kick moving opening tail gate" doesn't work! I have to kick rear bumper for open gate! When i started moving from CARWASH the tail gate spontaneously opened. Why?- poor quality. MPG on highway is 27-31. Not 33! Short warranty. Would you like NISSAN again? NEWER!!!!!

I will never buy another Nissan. The CVT transmissions are problematic and good luck getting a decent resale when you want to sell it. If it's any consolation I wouldn't buy a Subaru either because of the same problem. CVT's suck

Yeah, Subaru just extended the warranty on theirs because of all the problems they've been having. Mazda and Toyota still have normal transmissions and those are the only ones I'll consider now.
