Thanks for this interesting video. It's a lovely sounding and looking instrument with a generous and useful stoplist. Really impressed with the beautiful casework and interior layout and quality. Glad they could re-use some of the vintage stops, as well. The stop tabs look just like the ones on the 1981 3-manual Schlicker I played for nearly 20 years. 👍❤️ I'm a bit surprised that there's no Pedal Principal 16'. And wish we could have heard the manual 8' Bourdon/Gedeckt and Pedal Reeds demonstrated. Again, many thanks.

It doesn't seem like they have much room for pedal stops. The 16' Subbass is mounted horizontally, and that only requires 8 feet. Also, there is no manual 8' Bourdon or Gedeckt. Both 8' manual flutes were demonstrated. Additionally, all the pedal reeds come from the Swell Trumpet extensions, although I also would have liked to hear the full principal chorus with the 16' reed underneath it.

high quality pipe metal, a few kimber allen lever magnets used for the front pipe off block chest interesting , KA went backwards when they started putting plastic terminal holders on which are too easily broken.

Some things in the "build" I don't care for the way they were done or materials which we do differently, but the acrylic bung boards on the chests are sure handy to see the action working under pressure for any troubleshooting! I liked the closing piece near the end, sounded like a variation on a tune by Martin Luther - Mighty Fortress if I'm not mistaken

It's the rhythmic version of A Mighty Fortress (which is how it appeared originally) with the harmonization that appears in Lutheran Service Book.

The pedal to manual coupler on this organ is not unknown on newer instruments. It's nice because a pianist can substitute in a pinch. Good subs are hard to find!

Love the videos, but I wish you'd post the specifications of the organs as not all of the church websites etc think that it would be of any interest, and the OHS website isn't always up to date with this things!

That's one of the best laid out organs I've seen. Guess they had the space to leave room to work on the instrument without pussy-footing around.

I wish you had added the 16' Gemshorn to the Great plenum. Also, I realize that not every organist is adept at improvisation, but it would be nice to have a bit more tonal variety besides the keys of C and F major.

He's plenty adept at improvisation. If you can't get what you want as far as tonality goes, perhaps, you should be more adept at not being a snob.

Not all nouns which end in “s” are plural. “Bellows” is a singular noun. It’s plural is “bellowses,” often pronounced, amusingly, by old organ men of my acquaintance as “bellusses.” “Bellow” is an intransitive verb, not the singular of “bellows.” Careful speech is a virtue. Here endeth the Lesson.
