The removable deck on neck is nice. Everything else i could careless for. Need more weight capacity vs "bling". Good old leaf spring with tri-axles 40ft with monster ramps rated for 35,000-38,000 lbs or more.

Trust me, you dont want aluminum when loading a dozer. That ramp will be destroyed. Also, the deck on the neck needs to be steel as it can handle 2 pallets pushing upwards of around 2000lbs on it. Strong trailer needed for all the weight.

I've found wheels that will work but you have to get special hubs from dexter with 10 lugs!

Ken, your truck and trailer combo is what determines the need for a CDL. When a truck and trailer combined have a GVWR of 26,000+, you'll need a CDL. You want a trailer that pushed 12k lbs and a truck pushing 9k lbs to be rated for only 26,000 combined? Youre in the wrong class bud, as you wouldnt be abke to haul but a single car on its deck.... my trailer, which is part of this build, pushes 10,500 alone and only rated for 24,000lbs which i even overload by 1000lbs.

Hi Charlie, we actually did post the price of this trailer in reply to Gator Prepper's comment asking for it and you can see the full list of specs and pricing there. Please note it is a long comment and the price is all the way at the bottom. However with increasing tariffs on imported steel, the cost of our domestic steel and parts continually goes up, so our pricing simply does fluctuate at this time since trailers are mostly steel. We have exact pricing for ALL of our in stock inventory of nearly 600 trailers on our website (www.happytrailersales.com). Prices on 40' goosenecks start at roughly $10,000 and can go up to $15-$20k for air ride trailers with lots of popular upgrades. This particular trailer in this video cost more than that, but the way it is spec'd out is not the way most people would order their trailer. It's simply an example of what is possible to be ordered.

That's a great question, one we've answered for many customers. It's largely supply and demand, simple economics. Because imported steel prices have gone up, there is more demand for domestic steel, causing domestic steel prices to go up as well. Every trailer manufacturer we know of has had to increase their prices to compensate for this, regardless if they use imported or domestic steel, because steel is the main material used in building trailers and trailer components. A quote from Bloomberg, and a link to the article: "Surging demand and a 25 percent U.S. tariff have combined to send the benchmark domestic steel price surging more than 40 percent this year." www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2018-07-25/blame-tariffs-u-s-industry-feels-pinch-as-metal-prices-surge We as a trailer dealership are doing our best to be as upfront with our customers as possible, so that there are no surprises. As you may know, the tariffs are being implemented in stages and haven't even gone into full effect yet. We're expecting even higher costs of steel in January 2019.

There are also some limitations on certain options in order to reduce lead times on custom orders at this time. As you can see in other comments on this video, we have listed the price of ordering a trailer like this a few other times, but those prices are no longer accurate. The best way to price out a trailer is to speak with a salesperson about the options you want on your trailer and they will email you a quote. Once we get a deposit, your price is locked in.
