The winter test is not realistic. They are driving on pristine roads under pristine plowed snow. In Canada we drive on horrible degrading roads that are breaking further in winter because of freeze/thaw cycles and in addition there is no snow on the road because of the salt they pour on to it to melt the snow and ice. That creates a liquid spray designed to corrode any metal. By springtime we have potholes big enough to hide a Smart Car.
